Very happy with room, breakfast and the personnel at this Hampton Inn. Was sad that the price I paid was somewhat higher than some of the prices I saw in subsequent visits. I prepaid, so I guess I shouldn't do that even though I have been a loyal Hilton customer.........

Was upgraded to a king suite on the first floor which looked a bit like a converted conference room. This was no problem, except the bedroom wall apparently backed up to the kitchen. At 4:30 am I was awakened by constant banging noises as the kitchen staff apparently started preparing breakfast. The DC coded my keys for the wrong room twice, causing me to return to the front desk multiple times. The hotel is older and could use an upgrade, but it was clean and breakfast was well stocked with fresh selections. The parking lot seemed small and inadequate for the hotel size. I had to park in back. The room had a faint animal odor. I had to spray Febreeze which I fortunately carry in my car. The checkout clerk was very sweet but could not print a final bill. I did receive one via email later.

Dirty hotel, dirty showers, dirty carpets, dirty walls, very uncomfortable beds. Poor breakfast, if you come after 8 am, there is no food left, it is supposed to be served until 10 am. Pets are allowed into all rooms, so if you have allergy, as I do, do not stay in this hotel. The dogs are barking all evening, night and morning. Very bad stay. Do not recommend.

The rooms are not “housekeeping” dirty, they are “old and remodel necessary” dirty. Our socks were darkened just from a few hours in the room. The bathroom was sticky, the bedroom carpet was sticky. The king mattress was lumpy.

We have been staying at this Hampton Inn periodically over several years when we visit family in the area. Starting early last year this location really started going down hill. It already had challenges due to the fact of panhandlers and homeless aplenty in this area. Some of the key observations during this visit unfortunately were about half of the parking lot lighting was non-operational at night. Our last visit as well as this one The staff are continuing to feed feral cats in the back next to the pool. The filters for the dryer system have never been replaced they're just open air so it's spewing lent and other byproducts from the laundry services all over the ground in the back. Ladders and other equipment stored on the back side in the flower beds. In the rooms the upholstery on the seating as well as the floors have various unsightly stains as well as in the hallways also paint is starting to show its age and usage and high traffic areas. Abandoned bicycles in the bicycle rack how do I know they're abandoned? they didn't move for the 3 days we were there and I have flat tires so I don't think they've been moved in a long time. This Hampton inn is not up to the normal standard I've stayed at enough Hampton inns and other of the same family of hotel chain and this one has dropped I think we'll probably consider staying at a different hotel the next time we visit family in this area. As a closing note also if the lights on the flags are not operational the staff should take down the flags at night The only proper way to have flags flying at night is if they are illuminated.
