Our four-day stay at The Colony Hotel in November for my mom’s 70th birthday was, without question, one of the most special and memorable weekends we’ve ever had. Truly—more meaningful than trips to Europe or NYC. There is just something magical about this place, and the people make it unforgettable. The staff at The Colony are absolutely unmatched. Fern went above and beyond to help me secure very special restaurant reservations, making the entire weekend seamless and stress-free. Juliza was extraordinary with my three-year-old daughter—bringing her special toys, always making a point to speak to her, and doing so with such genuine warmth and care. It never felt scripted; it felt personal and heartfelt. We genuinely did not want to leave. What made it even more special was returning two months later for my sister-in-law’s 40th birthday. We only stopped in for brunch, but Juliza was there—and the very first thing she said when she saw me was, “Oh my gosh, where is your baby?!” That level of recognition and sincerity speaks volumes about the people who work here. The Colony isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. The service, the atmosphere, the feeling of being remembered and truly cared for is unlike anywhere else. We had the most magical trip and would come back every weekend if we could. Absolute perfection. 💗✨

We were scheduled to stay at The Colony in Palm Beach, but our flight was canceled due to the current travel shutdown in Puerto Rico caused by unrest between the U.S. and Venezuela. There are no flights in or out, so there was literally no way for us to get there. I called the hotel, explained the situation, and asked if they could refund our stay. They said no. I then asked if we could at least receive a credit to use on another date, since this was completely out of our control. Again, the answer was no. The tone of the interaction felt dismissive, and no alternatives were offered. What disappoints me most is that The Colony promotes itself as a property that prioritizes customer service. In a situation like this — something unavoidable and extraordinary — I would expect at least some effort to accommodate guests. Instead, we were told “too bad,” even though the room can likely be rebooked. Traveling is unpredictable, and great hotels understand that. Unfortunately, our experience with The Colony showed the opposite. Very disappointed.

We enjoyed our lunch , afternoon Tea and the most BEAUTIFUL KINDNESS from the Team! Everyone is welcome to Live the Florida Dream Lifestyle. Happy to be back home. Thank you again. As a single mother to Jake, the days are challenging. Having beautiful places to relax and enjoy KINDNESS is priceless ❤️. God Bless America 🇺🇸 and beautiful Palm Beach Colony Hotel. It is a beautiful place with delicious food, but the employees treat you very badly, Pesimo Servisio, a Cuban who said he was the director, treated us badly, Ami and my partner.

Apologies for the acutely specific nature of this review, but the valet with the braces is insanely disrespectful. I gave a colleague a ride, though he rode in the back seat because I had several delicate packages secured in the front seat space. I assume the valet thought I was a rideshare driver, because as I started to pass him he started he started throwing expletives around (that I won't closely reference here). Even still, his comments were nasty - how he didn't know how I got a license, and who knows what else. All I said was that my car has 15 cameras and sensors (implying that I don't have to follow people directing me through tight spaces). TLDR, pretend to follow the valet if he wants to direct you, and won't have profanity laden insults hurled at you while passing the valet stand. I'll happily be skipping the cocktail hour our host has planned there later in the eveing and hope to find neutral treatment at the Carriage House, where we ultimately conclude our time on the island.
