Booked a 4-night stay with my husband. Checked in via the mobile app (as I always do, as I am a frequent traveler and have Hilton Gold Status). Greeted by the front desk clerk upon arrival and headed to our room. We noticed our "free" bottled water wasn't in our room, so we headed back downstairs to get our waters. Clerk asked for our room number and gave us our waters and we went upon our way. We came and went from the hotel multiple times per day every day of our trip and were always greeted by the front desk clerk. We woke up the final morning of our trip, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, packed up and were going to head to Disney World for the day. Much to our surprise, our rental vehicle was not in the parking spot in which we left it. We proceeded back inside and advised the front desk clerk. She advised us that they towed it away because we didn't register it. We were NEVER asked to register our vehicle during our check-in and various encounters with the front desk personnel. The hotel only had a few guests our last night, so I would think they could have done courtesy checks with the people who were staying to see if the vehicle belonged to them prior to towing it away. We asked to speak to the manager (Roseline). She came to the front desk, never made eye contact, pretended to type on a computer, never apologized for the mishap and promised to look into the matter and get back to us. We are now 5 days later, and we still haven't heard one word from the hotel. I have left several messages and sent multiple emails to not only Roseline but the General Manager as well with absolutely ZERO response.
DO NOT BOOK A STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU EXPECT STAFF TO BE ATTENTIVE TO YOUR MATTERS.

Warning to fellow Diamond members - your status means NOTHING here!! They do not recognize Hilton status.
I arrived at 5pm. There were at least 15 oceanview rooms available on the Hilton app when I checked in. I asked if there were any upgrades available and was told no.
I showed the front desk rep (Saad) the Hilton Diamond benefits on the Hilton website that say Diamond members are eligible for “space-available room upgrades” and pointed out that there was clearly space available.
He said “We don’t upgrade anyone; we only upsell oceanview rooms.”
I asked to speak to the manager but when the front desk rep went to get her, she wouldn’t come out. Instead, she told him he could upgrade me to an oceanview, but only to the lowest floor (Floor 2).
Basically, she told him to appease me but give me the worst thing they had, even though there was better available.
That’s not good customer service. That’s not the way to treat Hilton’s most loyal customers. That’s poor management - and poor management makes all the difference in this business.
Hotel was clean and right on the beach. But this is a nickel-and-dime property. Hilton needs to re-evaluate their choice in management here.

This place is definitely one of the Gems of the #DaytonaBeach area. Newer Hotel, Very Clean, and the Ocean views are awesome! It’s quiet and comfortable, exactly what we wished for on Our Anniversary. The Staff especially Mrs. Rose and Awesome!! Can’t say enough about them!! We will be back, Often!

Great view, and a very nice clean ocean front room and was able to get it in short notice, helped with it being in the off season in December, our dog was comfortable as well. My only gripe was that on our final night staying I opened the dishwasher and there were roaches in the dishwasher. I didn’t cause a scene and I let the front desk know quietly but it didn’t seem like a big deal to them. We sprayed down our bags and all of our belongings when we got home just to make sure we didn’t bring any back. Other than that it was quite nice and a lovely view, just not a fan of roaches.
