The hotel is very nice, new, clean, and modern, and the rooms are spacious. The reception staff are extremely polite and friendly — really a 10 out of 10. BUT the main problem was this: we stayed for 2 nights and planned to visit the park only on Saturday. We arrived Friday, and that night, around 5 a.m., the hotel security guard banged on our door with full force — not just once, but continuously for about 3–4 minutes until we woke up. At first, we were scared and didn’t understand what was happening. When we finally opened the door, he asked, “Is your alarm going off?” We said, “We’re sleeping, what alarm?” He just said “OK” and left without even apologizing.
After that, neither my wife nor I nor our little daughter could sleep again because of the stress and adrenaline. Our baby cried a lot. The next day, we were exhausted and had to leave the $600 park early around 3 p.m., too tired to even go out for dinner. When I reported this incident to the lobby, they said they would pass the information along, but no one ever followed up.
I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior at any hotel. To avoid running into this problematic security guard, I would recommend staying away from this hotel.

I have never been to this Westgate location before and I was pleasantly surprised based on the outward appearance. Everything in the room was absolutely perfect. The only reason I did not give 5 stars across the board is because to get to the actual location you are winding through an apartment complex on one side and westgate on the other. Its tucked back in the middle of this apartment community, so a long day at the parks or hanging out it could be frustrating driving back to the unit. Another weird thing is how the buildings are set, they definitely can do some remodeling on the outside as the building are very Dated and the crosswalk from the elevator to the building although it looks structurally sound is a little off putting to cross with luggage and carts. Overall the experience was a 4.8 out of 5 but nothing to not book with them about. Ill definitely be back!! Hopefully the first floor. Huge Thank you to Diego as they did not have a 1st floor unit available for my mother and disabled sister, he did give an upgrade that was greatly appreciated.
