High pitched noise that happens frequently (as in more than once per half hour). Is literally impossible to fall asleep!! All 3 videos were recorded within a 60 minute window. Between 930pm-1030pm. Update: I'm not sure whats more annoying the fact that the high pitched noise was happening more than once per half an hour or that once I made a phone call to front desk its frequency deteriorated without maintenance coming to check it out (I was told it was a smoke detector and they could come out immediately, asked for tomorrow as it's literally 1030 at night and I'm the only one awake/noticing the sound)(P.S if you add videos/photos then edit your post it can/will remove those videos/photos) (P.P.S they got 5 stars for customer service because the staff not a computer answered my call at 1030 at night and was very kind and professional. I blame the equipment for the sound not the staff as their response was to send someone literally right then and there.) Update 2: they never showed up to fix the sound. They lost their 5 star customer service rating.

Great accommodation option. I flew in for a convention, google said it was close to the Orange County Convention Centre.....It wasn't as close as it could've been, but a quick Uber ride over and it was fine. What I enjoyed was that the suites were more "my responsibility" so no maids or unnecessary people in my room. The bathroom was great, shower was just like home, nice and open concept and I had a water closet which was funny, literally in a closet was the toilet. What I liked about this place was how good the staff were, they were kind, courteous, security and anyone on the golf carts would stop and ask if I needed a ride back to my room or to the front gate, which was really a nice touch, so good job to management if that was a suggestion, or even more hats off to the staff for being so conscientious. The room was great, bed super comfy, pillows great, and I don't sleep well when I'm not home, so good job there too. All in all, a great place for a great stay, so thank you.

My family owns time share here and we have come every year for the last four years. Im going to start with the good. Location is number one. This place is 15-20 mins from it all. Universal, Disney, Sea World, and a whole host of other places for families. The location really is something special. The renovated rooms are nice. We get a two bedroom which has a full kitchen two bathrooms full laundry, the amenities are great. No issues, you can easily spend a day or two just relaxing by the pools or the water park, food and drink a plenty. Its a relaxing place. Unfortunately this gets over shadowed by the horrific service. Some examples over the years. Last year we check in and we are met by a woman who gives us our parking pass. She describes a breakfast to us that we should go to. She says its just a breakfast theyll pay 100 bucks to go to, and we can just leave whenever. Really? Ok. I had some questions any way about how to get people added to deeds. You want to pay me to eat and ask them, sure! We go to the bfast and its immediately a sales pitch to buy a timeshare. My family owns a timeshare, were here as owners right now. The woman salesmen tries to sell it as we could have something really special if we would just drop another 40k at 16% interest. I laugh at her look this isnt what I wanted. I decline they refuse the 100 saying that was payment for a 90 minute tour. I dont want a tour. Thats not what the woman had said in the lobby. The sales women then grew frustrated with us and borderline said we were lying. I even pointed the woman out in the lobby. Big waste of our time but whatever we are on vacation. This year, we get to the property and go to check in. They booked us only for one room instead of two. Theres 4 of us. I never book one room. They assure me it was my mistake I booked wrong. Lobby cannot help us so we have to get in touch with owners line. They rectify and we get an excellent room, tho they are sure to tell me its a favor as I booked wrong. Whatever. I booked months ago. Maybe. Who knows. Two days before check out we get a text notice thanking us for our stay and check out is 10 am. Huh? We still have two nights! We are out, I attempt to call but area is loud so We opt to return to figure this out. We speak to Manager Nick in the lobby front desk. Immediately things feels hostile. The text was an error. Nick wants to see the text, needs a time stamp, I say look we left a park early on this how about you buy us dinner? Well apparently Nick didnt asked us to do that. The fact I was there dealing with a error text they sent me was now the issue not the text itself. Dealing with Nick became very us vs them as went from is the text legit to well whyd you leave early and not just call? What does that matter Nick? Sure I didnt have to leave but you didnt have to text me our vacation is over a day early either. I was denied dinner, which is fine but why the hostile responses? I now dont believe the reservation issue was actually my fault. Anything goes wrong its never Westgates issue it seems. And we are already owners. Cant imagine how they treat non owner guest. Sad this place is ruined by the poor service even from managers like Nick. Every interaction is immediately guest vs staff. The service brings this place down imo.

I usually don't take the time to write a review very often but I believe the whole world needs to know about this place. Honestly I had no clue about Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa till I believe I founded not only the best deal for my trip to Orlando to celebrate my 25th anniversary with my adorable wife but also the best place to stay. Just driving inside and checking in was the best experience I had with Jamal Madison (front desk specialist) In less than 5 minutes he got me involved in not only with my booking but also with every description on what the Resort has to offer like the Treasure Cove water park with a long lazy river plus tremendous spa service not forgetting the fitness center, the restaurants and much more. WLR is like a city in the most convenient location in Orlando. Just like 15 minutes far from every park and also very close to International Drive. Once we walked inside our villa the elegance, the quality of the place was visible. Everything looked like new so we enjoyed our stay there. I believe no other places around the area can offer you this high quality of service, price and location. Regardless if is business or pleasure I assure you will be amazingly surprised with this place. On my next trip around the US I will definitely look to see if I can stay again on this great place since I also didn't know they are in other States....Kuddos to WLR.

Unbelievablly horrible. No internet. Second day. Call front desk. I’m supposed to call an outside company to have it fixed! Spent 2 days in room waiting for them to show. Was told by someone who clearly doesn’t know what they are talking about that they do not have a secure network. That has nothing to do with WiFi. Fridge another nightmare. Outside temp was warmer. Ice was water in couple hours. We were in the next to last building that was 1.3 miles from everything! They have little golf cart shuttles but they completely ignore you. Half of the things they said they gave are closed. Our lovely view was of the highway. Wastgates solution to all this was to give me back $29.00. Wall. That just made it all better. Don’t even plan on sitting on one of the chairs. Ouch. 2 rooms. But only 2 drawers that didn’t even stay closed if you opened them. 2 outlets worked. The rest were so old and beat up it would hold a plug. Certainly didn’t plan on going to luxury condos as stated as stay st a dump. Disgusting.
