One of the larger Tru by Hilton hotels we've stayed in, and the first with a lobby bar (5p-10p weeknights, 5p-11p weekends). Typical Tru rooms featuring the large flat panel TVs, limited storage, and the "not a closet" clothing storage hooks / pole outside of the bathroom. Room 711 on the 7th floor had a strong odor of ozone upon entry - perhaps they had just used an ozone generator to attempt to deodorize the room? I later discovered that the smell was coming from the air conditioner. The hotel is clean and relatively well maintained. Not much has changed since our first stay more than two years ago. One thing that has changed is that parking is no longer free. The hotel now charges $20/night for self-parking, which seems high for a hotel with a large, half-empty parking lot, flanked by an older strip center and the interstate. With the added parking fee factored in, there are better mid-tier hotels in the area for the price.

Here’s a polished, warm review you can use: --- We had an exceptional stay at the Tru Hilton Orlando Convention Center. Everything was spotless, fresh, and so thoughtfully maintained — the attention to detail truly stood out. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a hotel! A special shout-out to Shey and Sky at the front desk. Their kindness, professionalism, and welcoming energy made us feel immediately at home and well taken care of. Great service from start to finish! Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality.

Solides Hotel. Waren für eine Übernachtung dort. Sehr nah an Seaworld gelegen.

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and its staff. I was in Orlando for a convention and had originally booked another property through my airline — which turned out to be a huge mistake. After realizing how poor that experience was, I started calling around in hopes of finding another hotel, but everywhere was fully booked. When I reached out to the team at Tru by Hilton, they were incredibly kind and understanding. The front desk staff reassured me right away and said something along the lines of: “Get through the night where you are. We’ll have a room ready for you tomorrow. Come over early, have breakfast, leave your bags with us, and take the shuttle right out front to the convention center — we’ll have everything ready when you return.” Their hospitality was above and beyond anything I could have expected. Even after checking out, they offered to hold my bags so I could attend the final day of the convention. As I write this, I’m comfortably sitting in their lounge waiting for my flight — enjoying coffee and feeling completely taken care of. The room was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after the stress of the previous night. The difference between this property and where I originally stayed was night and day. I can’t thank the team at Tru by Hilton enough for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. I’ve always had good experiences with Hilton, but this particular location truly went the extra mile to make me feel welcome. Highly recommend!
