We love HGV and this property has great ammentities and location to theme parks, etc. We had a 3 bed/3 bath, with kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, and 2 balconies. It was great, it was bigger than our house!. Sadly, we hated the beds and the couch, as both were very hard and uncomfortable. We thought the desk, market, and pool staff were great. We also appreciated the valet staff as they assist you by golfcart around the property if needed. They had a convenient listing of all activities available on different days, and good discounts for lots of surrounding restaurants and shopping. If you didnt feel like going out, the resort's Coral Reef pool bar and grill was great too. The Reef Salad was so yummy! They had burgers, chicken, pizza, and stuff like that too, something for everyone. They made some pretty yummy cocktails too! The poolside trivia was fun too! They are only maybe 5 minutes from SeaWorld and Aquatica, 10 minutes from Universal, and abiut 15-20 minutes from Disney stuff. We recommend! 👍👍

Definitely not grand after one night. Maybe this bed and pillows can be replaced while I'm out for the day. Staying in room 9313 for two more nights... The bed is worse than any Hampton inn I've stayed at, let alone any other Hilton property. 2 more nights in this bed and I'll probably need to see a doctor. Shortcut walkways are closed at night, so you need to walk in the parking lots, or request a golf cart driver. In a room so far away from the main lobby, you can hear plenty of 18wheelers and air brakes over night. You can hear every kid crying or screaming through your door, and your neighbor walls flushing the toilet/showering, kids, tv, etc. Go to make coffee, and there's no coffee pot in the room? Barely enough cream for 2cups of coffee. When nights get down into the 40s, let alone the 50s... Would be nice to be able to turn the thermostat to click on when it's below 68 in the room, but that doesn't work either. Only cold, but NOT lower than 68. You turn off the thermostat in the room, still blows cold air. Maybe I can change this review before I leave...
Overall I did like this place. There's plenty to like about it. The rooms are clean, friendly staff and the grounds are wonderful. If you're planning trips to Sea World then its tough to beat. The issues are that during our 1 week stay, the people in the adjacent room would smoke which would inevitably bleed into our room. Yes, I know these are supposed to be non smoking but to the best of my knowledge, I dont think anything was done about it and it was bad enough to where we had to switch rooms. The next day we walked by the old room and the first thing that came to mind was being in a Cheach and Chong movie. So now we have another room ,however, the new room does not have the view we just had to give up. In addition to that, the grounds crew were painting and power washing right at the new location. So that eliminated being able to sit out on the patio with our coffee in the am. Then for the 3rd issue, the pool is supposed to be heated. Well it was for a few days but during the final day we were there, it was not. At least one of the 3 wasn't. You would think they would figure it out since nobody was in that particular pool.
Anyway, we did have some issues, as noted, but it really is a nice place aside from that and overall, if I was planning a Sea World based trip again, I would stay here again.

I will never stay at another Hilton Grand Vacation property again. They may use the Hilton name, but they operate completely separate—and it shows. I checked out on November 2nd, and here we are days later and I’m still waiting for my incidental hold to be released.
I was told the hold was released on November 2nd at 11:59 AM, but my bank confirmed the hotel never sent over any release paperwork. I called back and spoke with a manager who told me to contact accounting. I called at 9 AM, and of course, everyone was “in a meeting.”
I finally got a call from Jenny, who said she sent the information over again and that the hold should be released. That was on Wednesday. It’s now Saturday, my bank still hasn’t received anything, and the funds are still on hold.
This is absolutely unacceptable and a terrible business practice. Everyone was professional and smiling when it came to taking my money, but when it’s time to release it back, suddenly no one can help. I’m beyond disappointed and will not be returning to any HGV property in the future.

The hotel looks nice at first, but the stay had several frustrating issues. The shower doesn’t have a door or curtain, so water splashes all over the bathroom floor every time you use it. You find yourself directing the shower head into the wall and you have minimal space to shower to reduce the amount of water getting on the ground. You end up having to dry the entire floor with a towel after every shower, which means constantly asking housekeeping for extra towels each day. Bathroom also had previous guests hair all on the ground upon arrival. Hot water takes around 15 minutes to reach the shower, which is pretty inconvenient. The bedroom fan barely moves any air, so the room gets stuffy. If you stay here, you will run into these same exact problems.
On top of that, the TV casting feature (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) is almost impossible to use — it rarely connects properly. The worst part was the constant construction noise outside our room. It was loud and nonstop, and they could’ve easily placed us in a quieter building since it seemed like we were the only ones affected. Wish I would've snapped a picture of the cranes that were operating right outside our room but if you visit the property now, you'll see them at building 2.
Overall, the experience didn’t match the price or the hotel’s presentation. I normally stay at Marriott hotels and rarely ever have any issues — it will take a lot of convincing for me to stay at a Hilton property again.
