This was my destination hotel for the Hilton Grand Vacations pitch. When I made the reservation I told them that I had a condition for which I needed to take medical baths & wanted to ensure that the location had a bathtub that I could soak in for the purpose. The agent told me to just let them know when i arrive and they would just give me the same level room with a bathtub on arrival. So I did that, and they had to downgrade my room because non of the upgraded rooms had bathtubs. I'm on the 3rd floor and the view is crap. So they downgraded my room, but this bathtub is just an upjumped sink. It barely covers my thighs. Equally as important- the air quality in this hotel is terrible. This room stinks the same old stale cooked food smell since day one and its nauseating. Also when I got to my room it was 61 degrees when it was 74 degrees outside. The air quality in the lobby is fine, but in the halls and the rooms not so much. My sleeping heart rate is 10 beats per minute higher here because of it.
The actual tour to see the properties was also terrible. These people don't have any respect for consent, for your no, or for your time. They kept me so long that I was 19 mins late for a work call despite the fact that I had nothing planned for the hour after the 2 hours I had agreed to. They told me that if I just left without checking out then I wouldn't get the discount for the hotel I am staying in- the smelly place I am in now. They did however tell me that the agent who checked me in should have checked nearby hotels with actual baths that I could have been moved to, and to call the number to see if I could relocate.
So I called that number and they told me that it would have had to happen before I was checked in here. Which would have been impossible to know. So glad I didn't get the timeshare because me making a direct medical request for a stay that is supposed to be them showing off how great their services are was met with incompetence and callous disregard. Why in god's name would anyone sign up for a lifetime of smelly rooms, terrible air quality, and total disregard for honoring promises that directly affect guests medical health?
I have to take several work calls tomorrow and I loathe the fact that I have to do it in this space.
I absolutely regret even signing up for the discounted trip. Its absolutely not worth it and if I could check out and move into another hotel right now without forfeiting the money I paid for this one, I absolutely would. Honestly, if I knew some homeless folks who could use this space for the next two nights, I probably actually would just stay in a hotel of a competing hotel brand.
Oh, also the fitness room is the warmest place in this complex. Certainly warmer than my room has gotten and the lobby.
The staff seem nice about things in general though. Its just Hilton Grand Vacations that doesn't care about anything past getting your money.

The room was clean and very comfortable. We were in a 1 bedroom. It was very scapious. Both the room and bathroom. My husband and I were able to get ready in the bathroom without bumping into each other. The kitchen did not have an oven, but we did not miss it. The balcony was also spacious. We spent time out there and it was very relaxing. Very little traffic and nice view of the pond. This is our third time staying there and will do so again.

It was clean, we had a one bedroom. It was very nice, love the additional shower in the bathroom. Definitely do not eat there. My food was not good at all; I had the salmo, my daughter had grilled cheese, threw all away. They don't have steak.

The cons are rooms are hard wood floors so unfortunately expect noise from kids pulling the chairs above you and the parking is very inconvenient and separate from the hotel in a garage behind the hotel and the only elevators are in the lobby by front desk.long walk with luggage and kids.now the staff was amazing the whole time.ray the manager was very helpful and went above and behind to make our stay better.so we appreciate that.the location is beautiful but noisy if facing the road.the rooms are clean and stocked.the food was actually really good too.we won’t stay again just do to the parking,it’s difficult for disabled people.

We’re staying in a suite and I woke up to find cockroaches in the sink and on the counter. I’m extremely grossed out and will be asking for a full refund. We’ll also be cutting our stay short. Super grossed out.
UPDATE: when I informed the front desk of the cockroach issue, they sent maintenance and housekeeping up to my room. They killed the roaches they could see, but said there was nothing they could do and no where to move us so we had to stay and sleep in the nasty room. I spend 48 minutes on the phone at 1AM to find comparable lodgings for our family. The next morning, I spoke to Alyssa, since the GM is on vacation I guess. She said they would call the following day.
They called and let me know they would only be refunding one night stay, which I find unacceptable due to the unsanitary and inhabitable conditions my family were put in. I plan on filing a dispute on the change and contacting corporate. Unfortunately google will not post the 4 roach pictures I took, but I’m posting the same reviews on yelp and travel advisor sites.
