  Online it stated it had shuttle services to Universal Studios, upon arrival they informed us that they did NOT have this service.

  We had completed the pre-check-in process a day prior, as allowed. However, when we arrived, our room was not ready, the front desk asked us to return in an hour. We came back an hour and a half later, only to be told again that the room was still not ready and to wait another 30 minutes. When we returned, they informed us that our room had been given to someone else and said that they don't guarantee the rooms you check-in during the check-in process. Naturally, I was very disappointed. I've been an Honors member for many years and have never encountered this issue before. I always pre-check in to select a higher floor because I’m a light sleeper. Instead, I was placed on a lower floor next to the elevators and could hear noise coming from the pool while trying to rest without been given an option to choose another room. This experience left me questioning the point of pre-check-in if the room I carefully selected can simply be reassigned. Had I known, I would’ve taken any available room without waiting around for hours. Additionally, the room had several maintenance issues, and the area outside the hotel was littered with trash and stagnant water, creating an unpleasant and unsanitary impression. Furthermore, a strong cleaning spray was used in the breakfast area and front lobby, which had an overpowering and unpleasant odor.

  Nous avons séjourné une nuit au Hampton Inn Orlando Near Universal Blvd/International Dr. L’accueil a été courtois et professionnel, et la chambre s’est révélée confortable et parfaitement adaptée à un court séjour. L’établissement présente toutefois un style un peu daté, tant dans la décoration que dans l’aménagement des chambres, mais l’ensemble reste propre et bien entretenu. À noter que les abords de l’hôtel sont actuellement assez bruyants en raison d’un important chantier à proximité, ce qui peut rendre le réveil matinal un peu difficile. Le petit-déjeuner gratuit constitue un atout appréciable : sans être exceptionnel, il est varié et satisfaisant. Enfin, la proximité des principaux parcs d’attractions représente un réel avantage pour les voyageurs souhaitant profiter pleinement de leur séjour à Orlando.

  While I appreciate the effort made by the front desk to accommodate my early arrival for a 2pm check-in, this positive experience was quickly overshadowed by severe issues related to room comfort and basic maintenance. My initial room experienced a critical failure with the hot water supply. The water was lukewarm at best, estimated around 80°F (26.7°C). Maintenance was dispatched but the issue was not resolved; upon checking again, the water had become ice cold. I was moved to a second room just down the hallway on the same floor, where the water was again tepid, leading me to ultimately accept that functional hot water was unavailable at this location. Furthermore, the air conditioning in the second room was ineffective, struggling to maintain a temperature below 76°F (24.4°C) throughout my stay. Beyond the climate control issues, the hotel's general condition was unacceptable. The rooms felt significantly outdated, featuring noticeable wear and persistent musty odors. The bathrooms were poorly cleaned, which is a major concern. The common areas contributed to the poor atmosphere, with hallways feeling musty and unconditioned. The only true benefits of this property are its proximity to Universal Studios and the provision of complimentary, though unsecured, parking. As a frequent and loyal Hilton guest, I am extremely disappointed that this specific Hampton Inn location failed so completely to uphold the brand's expected standards of cleanliness and comfort. I will not be staying here again.
