i went against my better judgement and booked a last minute room. we usually stay at westgate but they had a 3 night minimum and i didn’t want/plan to be in Orlando for Thanksgiving. Upon check out I receive and email invoice that not only are we charge for parking (which is truly a joke because you park yourself and it’s in a huge lot) but a $75 pet fee for my daughters service dog. she is specifically his handler. I called and spoke to someone before checking in because i wanted to be sure they were pet friendly, YES, even though he is a service dog and allowed anywhere, he is elderly now and i like to know in advance what kind of environment it will be. i was informed for pets it’s a $75, no charge for service animals and there was no need to provide anything. excellent. now as i stated before this was our first stay here but we come to Orlando often as we live in Ft. lauderdale. the location was good, rooms were dated and had an old feel. the computer rolly chair that sat in the “living” area was filthy and severely stained dirty. when we got to the room we were missing a shower curtain, no biggie. we had to go back downstairs and inform them. the pet fee i have a very big issue with because he is NOT a pet. i call today, 12/6/25, and spoke with Mohammed and he informs me that i was charged because staff uses their judgement and can charge if they feel it’s a pet. that is NOT acceptable under ADA law. it’s been a week and i haven’t heard a word back from Mohammad about his “investigation” as to why they felt he was a pet. He knows the ADA laws and should be very aware that they are allowed to ask 2 questions, none of which he asked. As of 1/4/26 i’m still waiting for Mohammed to call me back with “proof” that my dog is not a service animal. The rooms are dated and the bathrooms and small. I have already contacted my back and am in contact with my lawyer regarding this because I am and will take action.

We arrived at peak time christmas/New years week. The staff at Embassy Suites was absolutely AMAZING. The manager on duty Tammie was the most attentive and caring. I honestly don’t know where I would find better. She gave us trolley passes complimentary. Gave us all of the tips and tricks needed for our mini getaway on I drive. The building is a bit dated compared to other Embassy suites we have visited in various states BUT there was NOT one speck of dirt anywhere in my room. Very clean very cozy homey feel. I take lysol wipes with me to every hotel I was extremely impressed. We were even accommodated a little earlier than check in time. The breakfast was exceptional, with a made-to-order egg station and an impressive variety of options. They also offer a daily reception between 5:00 and 6:30 PM with complimentary snacks and 2 alcoholic drinks, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The gym was great just what i needed. The pools were small but both indoor and outdoor pools were clean. The indoor pool has a jacuzzi. I would say location is KEY. Perfect location for all I wanted to do. But just keep in mind it is tourist location so there may be outside noise factors. Im a light sleeper and it didnt affect my sleep. There is also a heliport for helicopter tourist rides near. I would highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding customer service ,great location. absolutely amazing. Very accessible by bus ( lynx bus 8,38,42) or trolley to Universal, orlando premium outlets and vineland outlets. Nike clearance store, icon park, just super convenient for it all. Dezerland also right in the area. Also over 40 restaurants to choose from up and down I drive. Funny bone Comedy club is also amazing We will definitely be back.

The location was key to why I chose this hotel. It's located on the strip where majority of the things and food options are located. The hotel on the other hand needs to get a 100% refresh. Rooms ate horribly outdated and not up to what I felt I paid for. I was very disappointed. I would regularly stay at a Marriott but the room size, location, indoor pool and breakfast was why I chose to stay here but regretted it when I walked into the room. To pay about $600 for a 2 day stay and to get the room like that and the way it smelled was very disappointing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 out of 5 stars Overall, my stay was decent, but there were several areas that could be improved. The service was okay, though not particularly memorable. One of the biggest inconveniences was the elevators—despite the building only having eight floors, wait times were often up to five minutes, which felt excessive and frustrating. Cleanliness was another concern. Several areas of the hotel appeared dirty, including the room, bathroom, pool, and hot tub. This took away from the overall comfort of the stay and is something that should be addressed more consistently. On a positive note, the location is very nice and convenient, which adds a lot of value. For the price, the hotel offers fairly good value overall. Breakfast was probably the best part of the stay—the selection was solid and enjoyable. However, a 6:30 AM start time feels a bit too early, and extending the hours would make it more accommodating. Additionally, some buffet staff were not always the most welcoming when asked simple questions, which impacted the experience. In summary, the hotel has a great location and good value, with breakfast being a highlight, but issues with cleanliness, elevator efficiency, and staff friendliness keep it from being a higher-rated stay.

Embassy Suites Orlando has the bones of a great property, but unfortunately it is clearly in need of several repairs some minor, others more significant. From the exterior landscaping needing updated mulch, to the indoor pool area where brick and cement could use attention, down to shower knobs that don’t fully function, the wear and tear is noticeable throughout the property. These are not small details; they affect the overall guest experience and deserve timely attention. Whether this is a corporate-managed or franchise-managed location, property management truly needs to step in and prioritize maintenance and updates. The condition of the property creates unnecessary challenges for both guests and staff. Speaking of staff this is where the heart of the hotel truly lies. The employees appear overworked and understandably tired, yet they continue to show up and do their best in a setting that doesn’t fully support them. It is absolutely no fault of the employees that they have to manage the daily havoc caused by the property’s condition. In many ways, it hinders them from being their true, authentic selves and from delivering the level of service they are clearly capable of when given the proper environment and resources. A gracious and heartfelt shoutout to the Food Service staff, Housekeeping staff, and Front Desk staff; you are the true highlights of this stay. Your professionalism, patience, and dedication do not go unnoticed, even under less-than-ideal circumstances. Property management should seriously consider investing not only in repairs and updates, but also in staffing support and employee well-being. These teams deserve better. Wishing the incredible staff Christmas bonuses, extended PTO, and genuine appreciation for all that you do. You are the reason guests keep coming back and you deserve a property that matches your efforts.
