Overall not bad, rooms a little dated, room never got cold and be advised that if you pay extra for a balcony with a lake view you'll get a room with a completely obstructed view if you're not in the presidential suite. Definitely not worth the extra money and should come with a disclaimer that view is obstructed. Management tried to make it right by comping the parking and it was appreciated but it killed the vibe and expectation during a birthday stay.

This hotel has a few issues which may or may not affect your stay. The rooms are typical of an Embassy Suites. The staff however was rude or at least short with their guests. The parking is across the street, it is NOT secured. Homeless people frequent the area. The pool is advertised as heated-it is NOT. The pool area was also not well lit. While claiming to be pet friendly, There is no safe area to walk the dog. The set up of the complimentary breakfast is a bit different than most Embassy’s I’ve stayed at, the Buffet is served - not self service. The omelet station is set up backwards, and with only 1 cook. Signage is lacking for directions on where the line starts, and the service staff was clearly frustrated and snappy with guest who were approaching the buffet incorrectly. All in all this location will be on my list to avoid.

My in-laws and other family members stayed here for vacation and while the amenities, location, and room were beautiful and clean. The worst part of our stay came on 12/28, while using the restroom downstairs near the lobby. My wife was practically ran down with the door due to a woman swinging the door open as hard as possible, she then began to chuckle and said “find somewhere else to stand”. She had pale skin, mid length pony tail with glasses, a rolled up shirt and vest, best we could tell she maybe worked at the bar. Needless to say this type of behavior is unacceptable, there was no excuse me, or sorry for almost hitting you, just a rude arrogant woman feeling entitled. This experience has definitely left a bad taste in our mouths for Hilton, our go-to hotel.

CONS: We stayed there for 4 days and our room was not cleaned even once. Not one time— trash, towels, beds/sheets etc. I asked the front desk and they said daily cleaning was included. I told the cleaning crew that I saw making their rounds and they completely disregarded.
Parking is $26/day and is across the street. Not the end of the world with this being downtown but it was just not something I was aware of when booking.
PRO: Good location. Check in staff was kind. The little bodega/store inside the hotel has everything you could need if you forgot anything or need a snack.

One of the breakfast buffet chefs COUGHED DIRECTLY INTO HIS GLOVED HAND before grabbing the plate he was going to put my food on. Rather than changing his gloves and washing his hands, he proceeded to act like he didn't just do what he did. Not only that, another employee behind him watched him do so, and said nothing. If this is the level of cleanliness allowed at this hotel, then I highly advise not staying here if you care about your health. Or at least; don't eat at the breakfast buffet.
