Outstanding Customer Service & Wonderful Stay
I had an excellent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando East–UCF Area. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The level of professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail was truly outstanding.
The front desk team was warm and efficient, always ready to help with a smile. Every interaction felt genuine, and it was clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay.
The entire atmosphere of the hotel was calm, organized, and inviting. It is rare to find such consistently high-quality service, and this team truly delivers.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Orlando or UCF area. I will absolutely be staying here again.

Stayed here for 5 nights. It was nice and beds we're comfortable. The bar was nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast had limited options but was good. Pool and outside area was outdated, pool was slightly dirty for the duration of our stay, and chairs seemed to be deteriorating. No vending machines even though the signs said there were some. Overall was decent and would recommend.
Staffs are nice, but the procedure is pretty completed. The AC was terrible, imaging in 2 humid and still pretty hot days. I switched room after the first night, it’s getting a but better than nothing, but the noise was still like a tractor is working. Probably the facility is aged. I would find another option next time.
After a 13hrs of exhausting drive, we checked into this hotel at night and were ready to just wind down and sleep. After getting in with the luggages, found out toiler flush is not working! I had to go down to the reception and get another room and shift all my luggages. How could something as simple as a toilet flush function miss QC before handing off room to a guest? Never coming back here or any other Double tree hotel!

I am deeply disappointed by my experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando, especially given that my husband and I are Hilton Honors members who almost always choose Hilton properties when we travel.
On Christmas Eve, after driving nearly four hours while recovering from extreme food poisoning and being physically exhausted from lack of sleep, we arrived at this hotel only to be DENIED our confirmed stay because we were traveling with our ADA-protected service dog, Molly. Not to mention that Molly is a 15 years old Yorkie (toy breed) who has been suffering from different health issues because of her age and worst, she has cancer.
We were explicitly told that the hotel has a “no pets/dogs policy” and that it did not matter that she is a service animal. We were essentially told to leave, with no solution, no compassion, no refund, no respect around 6pm or 7pm on Christmas Eve.
This is not only shocking from a hospitality standpoint, but also deeply troubling, as service animals are protected under federal law and are not considered pets. To make matters worse, when Hilton corporate was contacted, the situation was handled poorly, and we were told they could help us find another hotel, but we would need to pay out of pocket again, while they kept our original payment. We replied “thank you, but if that’s the way to handle this situation, and not transfer our payment, we would rather find a different hotel to stay ourselves”.
American Express later confirmed the seriousness of the issue and approved our refund. Amex had to escalate this matter because the customer service rep kept calling, but the calls were disconnected (answered then hanged up). They also noted that an employee was extremely rude to them on the phone as well (something unusual), which unfortunately matched our experience.
What made this even more painful is that we have had wonderful experiences at Hilton properties worldwide, including an exceptional stay at Hilton Milan in Italy. The contrast could not be greater. What happened here felt like the complete opposite of hospitality.
Being told, in effect, “you are not welcome here because of your service dog” on Christmas Eve, while sick and exhausted is something no guest should ever experience. And also, the hotel looked empty, there were no visible visitors around the lobby area and the parking lot was completely empty.
I am sharing this review to warn other travelers, especially those with disabilities or service animals. Policies should never override basic humanity, respect, or the law.
