Our stay at this hotel was disappointing. After traveling for over 17 hours, we arrived extremely tired and in need of showers, only to find out there was no hot water. As a family of five with children, this was not going to work. Although a 30% discount was offered and we were told the water would be back the next day, friends who stayed later told us it never returned, even after three nights. Parking is not free and very expensive. While the location is nice, the building is old and in need of updates, and the rooms had a strong humid, musty smell. We requested to be moved, but the second room smelled the same. The staff was not very friendly, which added to the frustration. The only positive was that the restroom was updated, but overall we checked out the same night and moved to a better hotel at a more convenient price.

I arrived for my reservation on New Year’s Eve and was immediately informed that the building had no hot water. I was offered either a full cancellation with a refund or 30% off my stay. Given that it was NYE and all other hotels were either sold out or extremely overpriced, I had no real choice but to accept the 30% discount. However, that discount was never reflected in the total amount I paid, and I was still charged for parking. I was hoping the room itself would at least be pleasant, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. To reach the room, we had to take an elevator that was by far the sketchiest I’ve ever experienced. The ride to the 12th floor was genuinely frightening, with intense shaking and sudden drops… honestly dreaded having to use it again. When we finally entered the room, it was extremely humid and smelled strongly of mold. The bathroom had a partially used toilet paper roll and urine left in the toilet. We had a dinner reservation and no time to address these issues immediately, which made the situation even more frustrating. I’m extremely disappointed, especially because I’ve stayed at this hotel at least four times before and never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be staying here again.

I arrived to my reservation on NYE, and they proceed to tell me that the building had no hot water. They offered me to cancel reservations with a refund, or 30% off stay (which I don’t see reflected in the total I paid)… it was NYE so I had no other option but to take the 30% off as all other hotels were sold out or extremely expensive. The discount was never reflected in my final amount that I paid and they still made me pay for parking LOL. I was hopeful the hotel room would at least be pleasant… one out way to the room, we had to take the elevator, and it literally was the sketchiest elevator I have ever been on. Going up to the 12th floor was terrifying with how it would shake and have sudden drops… let’s just say I didnt want to go back down the elevator…. But anyways… upon arrival, the room was humid and smelt like mold. The bathroom had a 3/4 used toilet paper roll and pee in the toilet. We had to rush to our dinner reservation so I had no time go address the issues. I’m extremely disappointed as I have stayed there over 4 times and never had this issue… I unfortunately will never stay at this hotel again.

This hotel completely aware that for days they have had NO HOT WATER, location did not contact us to advise that they have NO HOT WATER. Showering is not an option in freezing water. Instead waited for us to arrive at check in to inform us. This is unethical sneaky behavior. As we were a late check in tired after hours of travel looking forward to taking a warm shower. Instead we needed to find accommodations elsewhere.. hours later they declined the 3rd party vendor booking com request to approve the offered free cancellation to a reservation we would have never made had we known. this dispute has taken so much of our time and tied up our financial resources. I don't recommend this hotel they are liars and operating against FL Dept of health division of hotel rules and regulations mandates. They should be fined for this decietful unetheical business practice.

So I’m currently staying at this location. I came down to surprise for family for Christmas from Pensacola. The location is a little irritating as I passed by the hotel at least 3 times due to poor signage and being unfamiliar with the roads. I booked the room a week or so in advance at $190 for two nights even though we weren’t gonna be arriving until after 10. It was smarter to pay for 2 nights instead of potentially having no place to stay. We parked in self parking which is 3 floors above valet. That was the first issue. Second was that NO one mentioned at $35 parking fee nor is it on be site. I opted for street parking cause I wasn’t gonna pay to park my own car. Also, when I went to pay it went from $190 to $340 and was told there is a $150 deposit. This ALSO is NOT on the site. That irritated me as I came down on a specific budget and that dipped into what I felt was an unnecessary added expense. Especially considering how outdated the rooms are. The elevators are old and done get me started on the shower. I don’t know what the $150 deposit it being taken for. This is not a place that screams big parties and potential room damage. No microwave and no complimentary breakfast. After getting charged $340 for 2 nights I feel like a free bagel would’ve been nice.
