I am a Hilton Diamond Member. I reserved one night at this Hilton property as I attended a conference that was held in the property's convention center. Room....the desk has NO POWER OUTLETS. Not a single AC or USB outlet. The desk also has no lamp. What is the point of having a desk and chair??? The room phone had no ability to contact the front desk. There is no "Front Desk" speed dial button on the room phone. I dialed "0" a dozen time and no one picked up. The Outdoor Patio....EVERY SINGLE CHAIR, and there are three different styles of chairs, felt like you were sitting on a piece of plywood. The very large lobby area has the feel of a Soviet era hotel. Sparse and cold. I have had better Hilton Hotel experiences at the lower end Hampton Inns. The staff here was very nice. The property needs a MAJOR facelift. Won't ever book this Hilton property again.

We had a great stay over New Years. This is THE place to stay if you are visiting Universal, but you want to save a few bucks from staying on the theme park property. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the park entrance and there is a pedestrian bridge that goes over the highway, so it was very safe. They also have a Universal desk and they helped us print our park tickets and book a bus to Epic. If you are going to Epic, you need to make a reservation for the bus the day before you plan to go (and best to do it in the morning before you leave). The onsite restaurants are expensive and we didn’t eat at them. If you want to get breakfast before going to the parks, I would recommend door dashing chick fil a or something. Our room was very comfortable. I have chronic back issues, but slept great in the bed. There were issues with the elevator during our stay and we were on the 15th floor, but that was the only issue. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here the next time I go to Universal.

Holiday weekend, and only ONE (of three) elevator working for the +12 floor building we're in!! Last night we waited in line at the elevator longer than we waited for some park rides! Since seeing that as a recurring situation, we've been climbing 7 flights of stairs every time we come/go. Tiring after a long day walking the parks! The rooms are decent, clean, average/not fancy. Only complaint with the room is that the bedside outlets are so loose, whatever you plug in will fall out of the socket unless you don't touch the cord or if youwedge something upon it. Customer service seems good, but we haven't interacted much with them since arriving. The elevator issue is the biggest, by far. The price people pay to stay here should ensure, at a minimum, that there are functioning elevators available! I'm dreading our departure, as we will have to choose between 7 flights of stair, or an outrageous wait time for an excessively overcrowded elevator.

This hotel is very well located and offers easy transportation to and from the parks. It’s and older property but it is clean. The staff when we arrived was friendly and helpful. My issue is last night there was several people (late late at night) waiting for help from the front desk and the manager just walks around did not offer any assistance to the crowd. Then there became a fight (verbal not physical) in the lobby and he and the other staff did not intervene till people asked him to. Then he promptly took care of the “penthouse” people (who instigated the fight) before anyone else. He did not handle that situation at all or apologize or anything. He was slow to respond to the whole situation and allowed men to yell at women and threaten them. Bernard was his name, I believe. It’s important to feel safe, this staff was not able to do that. I can’t say we would stay here again.

Adding an update. This happened on December 26,2025. I’m making a public notification of a request to get the information of the general manager of the Hotel. We Made a Reservation for the bus shuttle to go to MK. My family and another families made reservations and after returning before 10:00pm (9:20pm) to be on time. The bus shuttle did not arrived and the bus driver from the other area said that nobody was going to pick us up that he was the last ride. We staying until midnight until an Uber arrived. Nobody answer the phone in the guest services /lobby. Front manager said my apologies but no refund not even for the uber and no information to submit a complaint or no information from the people in that shift that was hanging the phone over and over for hours. Contact Customer services still waiting for an answers and to know the refund. DO NOT make reservations with the shuttle or with the hotel. Never have an issue with Hilton but this is beyond bad customer service. Hope Hilton can read this or at least somebody can assist me. Other that give me an email or a business card and not resolving the situation.
