Not a bad place to stay, conveniently located and everyone was nice but the room was very damp, our towels didn't even dry from one day to the next. And it was strange, our first day housekeeping must have came while we were gone but it wasn't really "cleaned", 1 bed was made and 2 clean towels were left. We didn't expect anyone to be coming in because hotels these days are usually every other day. I would recommend staying away from the elevator too, we had to use white noise to drown out the sound of it.

It’s cheap! Really cheap. But you get a little more than what you pay for. Free parking. Thank you. Erin at the check in was polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. $20+ dollar buffet was the most disappointing. It was a Hampton inn level breakfast for such a high price tag. The older lady that attends to breakfast is also very mean making it even worse. Thank you for the overall experience.

Update The billing issue was resolved by Norman so my review is reflecting the hotel minus the billing issues. Original I ran late leaving Ocala so I decided to stay one night using points at the Hilton. The location is good for I-75 with on-site and numerous restaurants in the area. My pup travels with me so I was glad that he was allowed. On check-in I was asked if I wanted points or $30 food credit and opted for the food credit. Due to my pup traveling with me I was restricted to the lower floors but given an upgrade due to my lifetime diamond status aka I spend more time in hotel than at my home. The first elevator had some damage to the floor and the staff was aware of the issue. The floor damage didn’t impact the functionality but was a tripping hazard. The room was the standard Hilton offering with king bed, large room, fridge, microwave, walk-in shower, good size TV, and decent linens. The hotel appeared to be empty and there was limited road noise from the interstate. There was a large lot next to the outdoor venue that was convenient for walking my pup. The pool and spa area looked to be freshly painted and were in good condition. There was a large chess board game in the pool area. The morning of departure, I decided to skip breakfast so I confirmed the value of my food credit to have the front desk staff confirm $30 credit. I purchased five (5) drinks totaling $31.18 expecting to see $1.18 applied to my bill. When I got my receipt once I was home, I was only given $15 food credit. I called and was told I needed to talk to a manager. I emailed and haven’t received a response. My rating changed with the inaccurate billing as the hotel was nice, location was good, room was clean and in good shape but I travel enough to see issues all too often on billing.

UPDATE: I wanted to revise my review, since the staff took care of the incident without question. Was not expecting that at all. Other than the false fire alarm, the overall stay was great. Rooms were clean, staff were top notch. I do wish they had more bell carts, as I had a lot to carry, and they didn’t have one available at arrival or checkout. Great place to stay while in Ocala! ————————————————————————————— I am traveling for the first time with my 8 month old. It’s already hard enough to get her down to sleep. At around 10pm, after rocking my crying baby to the edge of sleep, the fire alarm goes off. The PA system said we needed to evacuate to the nearest stair well and avoid the elevator. After walking down 9 sets of stairs from the top floor, we were told it was a “false alarm”. Apparently a smoke machine from a wedding someone was having in the ballroom set off the alarm off. This is wildly unbelievable and unacceptable. Going to ruin my entire nights sleep, daughter won’t go back to sleep for hours. Don't think I’ll be staying here again.

Wow 🤩 I am still in shock over the care and amazing hospitality everyone at the Hilton Ocala gave my son and I. We are traveling throughout Flordia and ended up in Ocala so far this hotel has been the best one yet! Chaveeta was the first person at the front desk I spoke to upon arrival she helped me with a whole list of things to do for my son and I. She told me about the world equestrian center and WOW 🤩 that was a dream. The next morning in checkout I was treated just the same by 3 lady’s at the front desk! Again helped with must see places and now I’m heading to silver glen hotsprings. I appreciate all the help and think yall need a raise! Thank you for being so kind the world is lacking amazing humans. Happy holidays ❤️ hotel was clean too also first hot tub where it’s been a true hot tub 10/10
