Clean and newer hotel and not as expensive as the ones closer to Miami. The lemon scented soaps and lotion smells really good in Tru hotels. The food was better than expected. Great place to stay if you are looking for a Tru hotel in quieter snd less expensive location. Also, paking was free. Just rightside the hotel. Only con is the really strong fragrance in the hotel lobby. Don't know if I'm just being sensitive, but oh boy it reeks heavily of fragrance. Costco Gas is also not too far away for a refill before making the long trek further South or if heading up North.

Very beautiful hotel, new/modern, clean, with complementary parking. I love the fact that the TVs are not only limited to cable/live channels, you can use streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Youtube... only reason I'm taking a star off is because, not only the King bed room I got, felt a bit small and cramped up, but also, there was no microwave in the room. I had to go down to the lobby, on the 1st floor every time, from the 3rd floor, to reheat my food.

This was an excellent stay from start to finish. The room was exceptionally clean—one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Everything was very well organized and thoughtfully laid out. The mini fridge was convenient, and the many towel hooks were a huge plus for us, something you don’t often see but truly appreciate. The room also featured a small desk area that worked perfectly for office or schooling needs, and the overall décor was cozy, warm, and inviting, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. This was our second time staying at this particular venue, and once again it exceeded expectations. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again in the future.

I stayed here for five nights for a work trip and was extremely pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. The bed and linens were some of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel of this class. The breakfast was delicious and rotated so it was different everyday. There were always too hot items plus fresh pancakes, cereal, yogurt with toppings, and juices and milk. The bagels were also fantastic. I didn't use them but they have a billiards table and cornhole downstairs and a very basic pool outside. Parking is free as well which is a nice thing especially at a reasonably priced hotel. I will probably stay here next time I have to work in miami. I wish it was closer to the city, but it's in a nice quiet, safe area and is close enough to Miami.

(Copy & Paste) I had one of the most upsetting hotel experiences of my life at the Tru by Hilton Miramar. My 72-year-old sister (who has hip and back issues) and I were told we had to pack up and leave our room in under 15 minutes after the front desk mishandled our reservation. The front desk associate was rude, kept cutting me off while I tried to explain, refused to give her name or the manager’s name, and even threatened to call the police. For the record, we NEVER refused to pay a second deposit — my sister had her credit card in her hand. We only asked why it was needed because we thought our extension had already been handled at check-in. The employee went to the back, told the manager her side only, and came back telling us we had to leave. The manager never spoke to us directly. They had rooms available, we were paid up, and we had done nothing wrong. As a Hilton Honors Member, I am shocked by how we were treated. No guest, especially seniors or those with health concerns, should ever be treated this way.
