This hotel is clean, quiet, safe, and the staff are wonderful and helpful. I stayed here for an extended period of time during a move transition, and Rae was extremely accommodating while I navigated finding a new home and extended my stay as long as I needed without an issue. It's also in a great area with lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses within .5 miles. Highly recommend!

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the TRU by Hilton. What was supposed to be a comfortable weekend stay turned into a frustrating and completely unacceptable experience.
When we checked in on Friday, we dropped off our belongings and left the property, not returning until later that evening. It wasn’t until that night that we noticed a very strong and disturbing odor of urine coming from the bed. This was not only unpleasant but absolutely unacceptable for any hotel room—especially one carrying the Hilton name.
The following day, Saturday around 1 PM, we notified the front desk immediately about the issue. Instead of receiving assistance, we were told by Diane that we could not be moved because the hotel was “sold out,” despite the fact that check-in for new guests was not until 3 PM. This made it very difficult to believe that every single room was truly unavailable at that moment. Regardless, we were essentially forced to stay in a room that smelled like urine, which is completely unreasonable for paying guests.
To make matters worse, no one came to clean, sanitize, or address the room at any point while we were gone. When we came back from running errands, Saturday around 1:30 PM, no one had came to clean the rooms. We did not put the sign outside that says do not disturb. We were waiting for service. We stayed from Friday to Sunday, and despite notifying staff on Saturday afternoon, nothing was done. We were left to sleep in a room with an unbearable odor for the rest of the stay.
This experience was not only uncomfortable but extremely disappointing. The lack of cleanliness, lack of concern from staff, and refusal to provide any type of solution or accommodation is unacceptable. I expected far better from a Hilton property.
I am requesting that this issue be addressed promptly, and that appropriate compensation or corrective action be taken for the unacceptable conditions and lack of service we experienced.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

The room set up was great and my favorite part was the mirror in the bathroom. I'd love to know where I can buy the face soap you had in the room because I fell in love with it but forgot to take a picture of the box!
One night I couldn't sleep so decided to come down to the business center around 1 am to do some work. The security guard being there made me feel so comfortable as I was not from the area and felt on my own. I noticed when I got there that I was in the minority as a female guest but I never felt uncomfortable and I truly truly appreciate that.
I believe the gentleman working the front desk at the time was named Robert and he was able to help me trouble shoot some printing issues I was having and honestly the class I was teaching for work would not have gone as smoothly without him.
All the staff were courteous and said hello. There were no areas of the hotel that seemed neglected and everywhere had a fresh and inviting look.
The breakfast options were great- gluten and I don't get along and there was plenty of options for me.
All in all when I come back to the Miami area for work I will be choosing this hotel as well as recommending it for other coworkers that travel.
Thank you!!

The staff are poorly trained and rude on a recent trip. Front desk hung up the phone at one point when they couldn't address a simple request and got frustrated with what we asked about. This is a management and training problem. As diamond members and experienced seasoned travelers, the service was bad and policies made no sense indicating lack of empowerment to make simple adjustments and decisions. The cleaning staff do a good job on the rooms.

Hotel doesn’t charge cards on file when the reservation is done. They should not be a partnership with their parties booking if cards are not going to be charged by in person. I had to drive an hour from my home location to check in our employee who was traveling for business proposes. I am 36 weeks pregnant and this require a whole extra two hours of my day to avoid my employee to be charged on her personal credit card.
