Checked in, had booked a room with a King and was placed in a room with two queens and was not told of this beforehand, mildly irritated I go downstairs to talk to the guy who checked me in “Shawn” who was not wearing a name tag and I had to get this information by asking, he proceeds to tell me that he didn’t care about what I booked and that because I booked third party it didn’t matter, I stated I would have liked to have this inconvenience and information communicated with me either before I got to the hotel or before I checked in the room and he just repeated the same thing about the third party thing, I’m a Hilton Honors member and only booked third party due to convenience and time constraints as this was a quick overnight stop while I’m traveling back home, when I asked if I could speak to anybody else he said I would have to wait until tomorrow knowing that it’s only an overnight stay and I would be gone by then, I’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels and this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with just simply check in, I would never consider coming back here even if it was my last option I’d choose to sleep in my car, there was no hospitality or desire to help, absolutely miserable, employees need to be wearing name badges as well especially if they are going to treat customers like this while putting them in the wrong rooms.

First time I have been charged a parking fee at a normal hotel. Not a resort, not near the beach, and not in a downtown area. Crazy just so they can make a little more money from you. Stay at another hotel. Fugazy.

This hotel has lots of good things. Staff is really nice, amenities are good and for a SoFl hotel it was very quiet and serene. It's also in a really scenic location, lots of shade and trees. Not so great - the carpet in the room was dirty. It's not cool to see dirty socks from the carpet. The automated assistant checked in with me about the stay. I said the room smells musty. No response lol. I had to turn the air conditioning on super cold to circulate air. I do like this hotel but please clean the carpet.

Visited family for Thanksgiving last minute. Great stay, room was big & very clean. The staff was very friendly. It was Thanksgiving and yet all the employees had a smile on their face and very hospitable. Definitely a good deal & will stay again.
