- TSTessa Smith1 day ago2.0This trip was for a very special family event for my husband's birthday, which they were aware of. They didn't do anything for this huge event unless I would pay for it. We paid for an upgraded suite, which did have a nice layout. The room was not able to cool, they sent technicians in twice, but still the room was like a sauna. No offer to move rooms or compensation. We maybe slept three hours each night. The room literally felt like a sauna. Also the mechanical blinds didn't work, ofh that because they weren't installed. When checking out I said we had alot of issues with the room, but again nothing. Most likely we will never stay again.

In 2026 with all the technology we have, this should not be! It's not a third world country or a budget motel. This is not a one off and in fact has been an ongoing problem. Absolutely sickening. We will never, ever return!

It's one of the best spots to go crab hunting at night with family, and it's the only hotel I've stayed at that has an 8-ft-deep pool. The location is beautiful and perfect for watching the sunset. Highly recommended.
- RMRobert MeyerDec 31, 20255.0We were here for a basketball tourney and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were more spacious than other Hiltons and Marriotts, amazing gulf view and very clean. The pool area and deck was large and fantastic. Lobby nicely decorated for the holidays. Location is great - outside of proper Destin which is too busy/touristy and very close to 30a so we were able to eat all our dinners in Grayton, Santa Rosa, etc. . The beach is one of the best beaches we’ve been on in the Destin area. Wide, amazing sand and the biggest benefit is there aren’t ropes everywhere confining you to a small section of the beach with signs in every direction telling you what you can and can’t do and a beach chair vendor that sets up inches off the water. We would never stay in the western part of Destin again because of that nonsense. Great resort!

Providing direct access to miles and miles of the beautiful beach along the gulf coast, with the backdrop of beautiful and spacious rooms, Hilton provides all the ingredients for a great family vacation. We visited during the Christmas holidays, and the holiday decorations added extra charm to our stay. The bunk beds and spacious rooms can easily accommodate families of 4-6, including older kids. Indoor as well as outdoor heated pools ensured our kids had plenty of time in the water despite the cold weather. Service was prompt and top notch. The property is conveniently located near multiple malls, including an outlet mall, and several restaurants. Overall, we had a great time at Hilton Sandestin and cannot wait to return soon!
