We’re halfway through our stay here and I honestly can’t imagine leaving. The staff is very friendly and treats you like you belong. Valet service is prompt and friendly as well. We have an oceanfront room and I’m going to request it every time we come back because the views are just stunning and the rooms are well appointed. (my only complaint is the mattress is so hard and has dips in it) My husband loves the proximity to all the golf courses his little heart desires, and I’m perfectly happy to sit on the balcony or under an umbrella in the sand. This has been one of our best trips to FL and we’ll definitely be returning.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an incredible experience! The Hilton San Destin hotel and spa went above and beyond for us during the Wounded Warrior Beach Retreat. From the delicious food to the out-of-this-world service, every detail made our spa day extra special. The entire team’s kindness, heartfelt welcome, and genuine appreciation for our group truly touched us. Thank you for your outstanding services & amenities and for making this retreat such a memorable and meaningful experience — we are deeply grateful!

We stayed basically 2 nights and 3 days, we were in the area for a wedding. I checked in online, but there was an issue. When we got to the hotel after 10 hours of driving, I was greeted by Shane at the front desk. WOW!!! I do not know WHERE this Hilton hired their staff, but OH MY LANTA!!! Every single person on that staff that we interacted with went so far beyond any experience my husband or I have ever had anywhere here in the states. It was actually comparable to Europe. Shane was beyond helpful and patient. He got is what we needed and more. Robert the bellman was kind, careful, fast and efficient. Our son lost his stuffed animal on the way to the room, the next morning it was returned by Britiane (sp?) at the front desk. Dealia (sp?) amazing, guy at the ice cream shop, so respectful, kind, and happy. Literally everyone here acts like they actually enjoy their job, that speaks words to management. I hope it is true. Breakfast was very good, I loved the lady working on 8 or 10 hot plates making omlets and crisping my hash browns, and working 2 waffle machines too. She was a so much fun to watch and she was incredibly nice and efficient while making GOOD food. The beach was well taken care of and we had great views. The exterior is not very pretty, but everything inside is nice. Our room had a great view of the Gulf, a private bunk area for our kids, and then a private king suite for us.

If you have a reservation for the near future ask about the renovations out by the pool. The noise makes it impossible to take a break before dinner, and guest services said the construction could last tonight until 7 PM. If the work isn't done consider staying elsewhere, this isn't a resort, it's a construction zone.

Cleanliness has become a problem for this once luxurious resort. Stained carpets in banquet room, AC filters in rooms so clogged that air doesn't cool and barely blows through, room fridge and microwave covered in crumbs, splatter and spills. The only way it could be worse is with bed bugs and stained sheets. What the heck Hilton?! 5+ stars now 2 to 3. Motel 6 is probably better. Get it together on housekeeping PLEASE. Oh yeah, elevator got stuck on 14th floor, 30 minutes to free friends trapped on their way to flight.
