Phenomenal hotel! Wonderful staff! Super laid-back vibe at this hotel. The staff won't chase you around and harass you. The beach is clean and beautiful, the pool is warm, the hot tub is fiery with strong jets to ease your back strain from driving. The gym is fantastic with both free weights and elliptical machines, etc. The rooms are nice and large with great views. Nice little outdoor bar with food and drinks. I had a blast and you will too (but only if you book here)...

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is perfect. Only steps from the hotel to the beach, which made everything incredibly convenient for the couple, guests, and vendors. The property itself is clean, classy, and well maintained, offering a beautiful backdrop for both getting-ready photos and wedding details. Everything flowed smoothly, and the beachfront setting made for stunning ceremony and portrait photos. I highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a beach wedding or want a beautiful, stress-free oceanfront experience.

Bad experience 😔
I have a severe allergy to feathers. I called ahead and told them, I also told them in a chat they initiated. They told me the following.
We will have any feather pillows removed.

We checked in, went to the beach, and dinner. When I got back I was exhausted and went to bed only to wake up congested, and wheezing. Six of the eight pillows were down and both bedspreads were down.
I called down to the front desk and told them and eventually they brought up new pillows and a blanket.
I understand mistakes happen, but this was a serious one. It took three days until I could breath comfortably. I didn't feel like doing much -- this was my vacation. 😞 I mentioned it to a guy at the front desk and he let Nicole, the director know. She never said a word to me. I was only trying to point out that they need to be more careful because it could be a more serious mistake for someone else.
I do think an apology was owed would have helped!

I was very impressed by this hotel! Our room felt small, but it sure was very comfortable and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Unfortunately, linens for the sofa bed were nowhere to be found in the room, and it took about an hour for a housekeeper to deliver them to us. The good news is that everything else made up for that. The breakfast was delicious, and Melissa (who was my server both mornings of my stay) was friendly and attentive. At the front desk, I found Chelsea, Kyle, and Nichole to be very guest-oriented. In particular, Kyle kindly offered us a late checkout! Overall, all the staff do their best to make you feel welcome, the rooms are nice, and you can't really beat the location of the property. I would definitely stay here again!
Pre-Wedding Experience (First Wedding)
I have given considerable thought to this review over the past four months before choosing to write it. Due to ongoing concerns, my fiancé and I seriously considered canceling our wedding; however, we ultimately decided to proceed because our deposit is nonrefundable.
Throughout the planning process, I experienced repeated issues with the quality of customer service during multiple in-person meetings with the hotel’s event coordinator. I made the attempt to address these concerns privately by emailing the GM in hopes of reaching a resolution directly with the hotel. Unfortunately, those efforts were unsuccessful.
Rather than acknowledging or taking responsibility for the unprofessional conduct displayed during our most recent meeting, the situation was instead framed as me being a “stressed bride,” despite having had over a year to plan. No apologies have been made. As a result of this interaction, I am no longer comfortable working with this particular coordinator.
The issues encountered included being denied a request to tour a reception space, being required to cancel one contract and sign another, the addition of unexpected expenses, and conduct that did not meet professional standards. Witness(es) were present during each interaction to verify.
The only resolution offered by hotel management was to assign an individual from a sister property to assist us for the remainder of the planning process. At this time, we will proceed under this new arrangement. I will provide an updated review once the wedding and overall experience are complete.
