- DADita AmandaDec 28, 20251.0We stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton North Orlando, Room 411, and had one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The toilet was completely blocked early in the morning. We informed the front desk before leaving at 7 a.m. and explained we would be out until 9 p.m., giving the hotel the entire day to fix a very basic and critical issue. When we returned at night, nothing had been done. The toilet was still blocked. We called the front desk again and were told a plunger would be delivered within 30 minutes. It never arrived. As a result, we were forced to spend the entire night and the following morning without a functioning toilet. This is extremely unsanitary and unacceptable, especially for a Hilton-branded property. The lack of urgency, follow-through, and basic concern for guest hygiene is shocking. This is not a minor inconvenience — it is a complete service failure. Poor management, poor communication, and zero accountability. We will not be returning and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is during the actual breakfast hours posted! I think they need more kitchen help and keep the food replenished. It's better to have food left over than to have your guest hungry and unsatisfied. Unfortunately at this rate this hotel will remain a 3 star.

The elevators, hallways, and rooms showed significant wear and damage, and the carpets could really use a deep cleaning. I had higher expectations for a Homewood Suites, and this location did not meet them.
