I write as I sit on my balcony overlooking the constant passenger ferries to the fun and games. It’s beautiful but, the blowing of horns every few minutes signaling the arrival and departure is incredibly frustrating, numbing in fact! My kids will get over it but, the dream of an afternoon nap is fantasy land stuff! The pool is great but, when the food runs it, the food runs out! We like to go later in the evening as it stays open late. It screams we don’t care and we will close the bar at 8pm because that is also what we do. The Cafe restaurant is really poor. No music, bad lighting and mediocre food, yes I said mediocre as I’ve had better in a train station! It borders on embarrassing and I have to imagine that they simply adopt the philosophy of “oh well, you are going to Disney and the food just isn’t important “. I really don’t get it. We had breakfast in Park Fare and it was fine, just about. Great staff, very average food and only endorses the above experience in the Cafe Restaurant. I am happy because my kids are happy, you all will get that. I just feel that it could be epically good if they would have the thought and urgency required to make it better. It’s actually not that difficult.

My stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa was absolutely magical! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how perfectly maintained and spotless everything was. The attention to detail in keeping the resort pristine is unmatched — every corner sparkled, and it truly felt like stepping into a dream. One of the most memorable touches was the incredible scent of gingerbread wafting through the air. It instantly created a warm, inviting, and festive atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enchanting. Between the elegant décor, the relaxing spa vibe, and the sheer beauty of the resort grounds, it’s the kind of place you never want to leave. The Grand Floridian is pure Disney luxury at its finest — clean, elegant, and filled with those little touches that make your stay unforgettable. I can’t wait to return! 🌸✨

Horrible. They checked me in, gave me a key to the room, and told me the room would be ready shortly and all the information would be texted to me. I wait patiently, yet I watch other people check in and go to their rooms. After two hours I check back in with front desk and they say the room isn't ready. I ask to switch to a room that is ready. They tell me there are none, which is odd since I watched my coworkers check in after me, and go to their rooms. They again reassure me it will ready "soon". Over two hours later sitting here staring at this building with my luggage. This place just wants money. Customer service is gone.

From the moment I stepped onto the Grand Floridian property, I knew I was in for something special. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about going to Disney World, as I usually prefer more relaxing vacations. But after my stay here, I’m already planning my return (and this time, I might just skip the parks and enjoy the spa instead!). I’ve been lucky enough to stay at some of the world’s best 5-star resorts, and the Grand Floridian is easily in my top 7 experiences. The attention to detail is incredible: from the charming Disney “Easter eggs” hidden around the hotel to the outstanding customer service, I was absolutely blown away. A huge shoutout to Dimitra, who checked us in and truly set the stage for an INCREDIBLE visit. She asked if we were celebrating anything, and I mentioned my daughter’s birthday. Dimitra went above and beyond, giving my daughter a Disney birthday pin that made her feel like a celebrity; staff and guests alike celebrated her throughout our stay! When we returned to our room at night, Dimitra had left a magical birthday gift bag for my daughter, which was completely unexpected and so appreciated. It’s the little things like this that make a stay truly unforgettable. One small recommendation for the property: while I loved the luggage carts to help with check-in and check-out, I do wish there was golf cart access to help guests get around. Disney is a very walking-intensive experience, and on-site transportation would make things even more comfortable. Overall, Dimitra was absolutely fantastic, and I’ve already shared my experience with so many friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so magical; 10/10, can’t wait to come back next year!

Everything is great. The service is great both food & concierge services were really great. I loved that you could take the monterreal or ferry to the park. I also loved that the Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, dinner was free & great. You must try "Strawberry soup" it is amazing. The rooms on the other hand were great but you must plan in months in advance. Especially if you want two or three bedroom. Although they said that you can room 6 people in a two bedroom. We had 1 King & 2 queen beds. & they included the sofa sleeper as well. We had had five guest. The view was awesome you could see Magic Kingdom & the fireworks 🎆 from the bedroom. I know it says quiet on one of selection but let's face the hotel is for the kids so it's not gonna be quiet.
