Avoid unless your standards are rock-bottom. We stayed here in August 2025. This hotel is plagued by cockroaches, outdated décor, and serious service failures. While the beds, bathroom, towels, pool, and small private beach were clean and pleasant, that’s where the positives end.
Rooms and common areas feel stuck decades in the past, security is lacking, and even basic amenities like laundry are inconvenient (quarter-operated), slow, and isolated.
The biggest issue, however, is the front desk staff: unprofessional, unhelpful, and inconsistent. Check-in was a mess despite a valid reservation where my registered guest (who arrived before me) couldn’t get a key until I arrived at 5pm and after I physically checked-in, the staff claimed my occupied room was “empty" when I returned to the front desk to provide vehicle information. Clear communication and basic courtesy were entirely missing.
Bottom line: A clean bed and nice pool/beach can’t make up for pests, poor security, and chaotic customer service. Drive past and stay elsewhere.

Staff and amenities where above and beyond but hotel is under renovation ( and not advertised), when traveling with two small kids on vacation is took away from being able to enjoy patio. Seem like they had just treated for bugs also from the smell, which I know is necessary in florida, it was just strong. Don't want to take away from the amazing staff or amenities but when paying over $300 a night it was not what I expected

This hotel is very very dated with dark gold colors, furnishings and bathroom tiles. The hallways are dark with drop ceilings. Surprised it is a Hilton. Surprised by the positive reviews. It needs a total landscaping cleanup. The location is good, pool and beach area nice. Employees only positive thing. Adequate free breakfast .

I highly recommend this hotel—it was a four-star experience from start to finish. We were greeted with friendly enthusiasm receptionist (and delicious warm cookies!), who secured us a fantastic room right by the pool.
What We Loved:
The Property: While it looks small from the outside, the property is surprisingly spacious. It’s a bit of a maze at first, but you navigate it quickly.
Beach & Amenities: The beachfront area is incredible, with plenty of lounge chairs to watch the sunrise. Being right across from John Pennekamp State Park was a huge plus—I went snorkeling and was back in my room in minutes!
Dining: The free hot breakfast is outstanding, featuring everything from homemade waffles to scones. Norma, the breakfast lead, was so passionate and kept everything spotless and well-stocked.
A Minor Note: The only slight hiccup was the in-room climate control; the unit was a bit difficult to manipulate, and I struggled to get the room as warm as I wanted.
Despite that, the location, the beach bar, and the wonderful staff make this a place I would definitely return to. It’s conveniently located near several great restaurants and shops, making it the perfect home base!

The rooms are a grade below Spark hotels. The rooms smell like mold/chemicals, chipped/peeling paint, dust everywhere, stains, holes in the wall and damaged furniture. The doors at the entrances and rooms did not work, some don't close and others stopped reading keys. There is trash all over the parking lots, beach and garden that was never picked up. There is construction debris everywhere. They just say they are under renovation and couldn't care less. This is the worst Hilton property I have stayed at but they have a view. Horrible rooms, customer service and cleanliness. The front desk supervisor lied to me and to Hilton honors about occupancy and availability. The front desk supervisor went out of her way to ruin my family's experience. She ruined my family's trip to possibly put one more head in a bed.
