The hotel is under renovation, we were never informed of that when we booked our room. We asked for a garden view and got the parking lot three feet from the sliding glass door in rear. We asked the front desk to move across the hallway like the rest of our group but they insisted that the parking lot view was considered a garden view. Ok I can deal with that. But what I can’t deal with is the arrogant front desk staff. They are and should be customer service friendly. They were not. We were over charged for extras and bar charges. When asked the told us they were too busy to get to it now. Days later after checking out we got the same response. Cut off and hung up. I understand this is a private ownership, from one owner another, my business runs on customer service and friendly staff . I would not put up with how your front desk staff treats people. They are the front line of your operation, they should not be pushing people away from your business. Good luck . Buy the way unless someone tells you theirs a problem you can’t fix it.

Great stay for the price. Convenient location if you don’t mind traveling to the other keys, which are extremely expensive to stay at. Staff was great. Pool was clean and so were the rooms. Nice little beach to relax on. Overall great place to stay if you are looking for a clean decent place that’s not going to break the bank. Breakfast included, not the best ever, but again worth not having to pay for breakfast everyday. I’d come back!

Overall we were very pleased with our 7 day stay here. Our room was clean & nice sized. The staff was friendly. PROS: Beach: They have their own man made beach which was nice. Sunsets: beautiful Wildlife: we saw manatee almost every day, dolphins, iguana, racoon, & and couple cats. Tiki bar: open 2-8ish is worth stopping by. Breakfast: typically eggs, waffle, cereal, fruit, etc etc - all good. Price: very reasonable Location: close to many restaurants, shopping, & state park John Pennecamp CON: they were renovating so we had some noise directly above. Overall: a GEM! I would stay there again.

Hampton inn has been my go too hotel chain for over a year now. They are clean, well managed, have a gym and a hot breakfast! This location in Key Largo has a tiki bar and a nice beach on the water. I travel all over Florida and Hampton never disappoints. Please NOTE that a whole wing is under construction at the moment.
