We arrived around 1AM, and when I asked a simple question about breakfast, the staff member at the lobby named Edwin was very rude and dismissive. He didn’t say anything offensive, but his attitude and lack of courtesy were unprofessional and disrespectful. I understand it was late and everyone’s tired at that hour, but basic kindness and customer service shouldn’t depend on the time of day. After a long trip, the least I expected was a polite response to a simple question. Very disappointed — this is not what I expect from Hilton.

We arrived later than expected on the night of our check-in and called the hotel from Miami at around 11:30 pm to confirm our room (a 1–1.5 hour drive away). After calling five times with no answer, someone finally picked up and confirmed that our reservation was valid and our room was available. When we arrived around 12:30 am, we were told by the same person that the hotel had oversold their rooms and had nothing available—apparently due to a fire at another hotel in the area. No one from the hotel ever called to notify us, despite having our contact information, and no assistance whatsoever was offered in finding another place to stay. We had to drive around in the middle of the night calling multiple hotels, most of which were sold out, until we finally found somewhere to sleep. After a long day of travel, this was an extremely stressful and disappointing experience. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service was unacceptable. I would not recommend booking this hotel.
