She’s the reason I took the time to write this review.
She runs the breakfast area, and her warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism were immediately noticeable. The kitchen and dining space were spotless at all times — which is no small thing with waffle stations and hot food — and she handled everything calmly while helping guests as needed.
What stood out most was how thoughtful and genuinely kind she was with everyone. Whether she was assisting guests when the waffle maker was acting up or keeping everything clean, fresh, and organized, she did it naturally and without being rushed or transactional.
When I asked a simple question about breakfast options, Sylvia went out of her way to make sure my family was comfortable and taken care of. This genuinely made the difference between breakfast being a stress point and it becoming a relaxed, pleasant start to the day — which makes a real difference when traveling, especially with family.
The breakfast itself was a solid continental spread (waffles, fruit, oatmeal station, eggs, potatoes, sausage, pastries, cereal), and everything stayed fresh and well maintained throughout service.
I was also genuinely impressed with the cleanliness of the room. For a pet-friendly hotel, I expected some lingering odors or hair, but the room was clean, fresh, and comfortable.

Finally, the 24-hour beverage station was a great perk — multiple coffee options, hot water for tea, and a full hot cocoa setup with all the extras. All the little kids absolutely loved it - big kids too- and looked forward to it every day.
Overall, a comfortable stay made better by staff who clearly care. Employees like Sylvia elevate the entire experience
