At check in my great grandson was told no one under 21 can check in without an adult over 21. But 18 years old can stay free with an adult. No where when I checked in and paid in advance did anyone or the site say he could not check in. I would like to see where in writing it says he can not at age 20 check in. So here he is at check in. Shocked and had to call me his retired Grandmother over 40 years servicing local military base and say where do I go? I called Hampton and was told to call the FWB location manager. Given a phone number to call. The desk said. We don't have a manager here today and I am not allowed to make any exceptions. I get spring break problems and other under age mostly 18 issues, drinking,etc. But this is not the case and totally unreasonable. So at the last minute with a planned vacation I had to locate other places to stay. The very first location without any issues allowed me to book a room. Thank goodness for them. I had reserved the room in his name so it wasn't like I was trying to pull anything. But everyone I know will know how we were treated by Hampton. Booking with any Hampton in the future us not an option.
