- SWShane WhiteNov 18, 20253.0Location is amazing. Right by thriving downtown. Staff is friendly. As of 11/17/2025 this hotel has significant plumbing issues in multiple rooms. More than one in my group had dropping water pressure issues and very hot water that was hard to cool down, then it would blast you with very cold water as the pressure dropped off. One in my parts had very little shower flow and it was difficult for them to rinse off. My room (602) had dropping pressure, cold blasts, and a slow shower drain. The water is also “Florida stinky”, but that’s common throughout the state. Our transportation company warned us about this hotel’s plumbing issues before our stay, I guess this issue has been ongoing for a while. Otherwise, I love the hotel.

Anitta at the front desk has been absolutely wonderful from the moment I check in. Her warm welcome sets the tone for my entire stay. Diego, the valet guy, makes me feel like family. He remembers me every time I visit, which adds such a personal touch to my experience. It's reassuring to have that familiar face waiting for me. Miguel, the bartender, is another highlight of my visits. He always greets me with a smile and is more than willing to whip up a quick meal after my long workdays. His hospitality truly makes a difference! I stay at The Banyan Hotel every two months for work, and the staff’s kindness and recognition make it my home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay in Down town Fort Myers
