I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn (Fort Myers) about a week and a half ago, used their outdoor hot tub a couple of times, and came home with something called “Hot Tub Folliculitis”. It is a bacterial infection that I contracted through their improperly maintained hot tub. My PCP said that it is such a severe case that he prescribed a steroid cream along with an oral antibiotic. Is it life threatening? Obviously not. But is it a life disrupter and something that you should not expect from Hilton? Absolutely. The included picture is just ONE PART of my body. The rash is literally all over!
