The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. The downside was we were there 3 days and not once did anyone clean our room. empty the trash, replenish toilet paper and kleenex, or replace the used towels. The hotel room did not have a closet or drawer for clothes. It did have a small bar to hang some clothes.

Property is located in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, but not near anything that is walkable. Property is fine, but there are just a few items that need to be improved, most notably the rooms. Our room did not have the proper bedding for the pull out couch. Also, the soap and shampoo containers in the shower were empty, which we did not realize until the first person took a shower. This is just sloppiness and poor quality control. The other thing that is not obvious until it is needed is that the toilet paper is 30 inches away from the toilet, hidden on a holder built into the vanity. I nearly fell off the toilet trying to reach it. I created my own system, by opening a drawer in the vanity to hold the toilet paper, which at least put it within reach. The front desk people are unhelpful -- told us that someone would bring us bedding and shampoo, then never did, so my sister went down to get it herself. Breakfast is fine, but not satisfying. Standard scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, etc, but it did not come togther and most things lacked flavor. Breakfast crew did stay diligent about refilling and cleaning, which was nice to see and appreciated. Overall hotel is fine, with a few areas to improve.

The worst tru by hilton by far in south florida. claims to be downtown but has a subpar location in downtown at best. What made me write a review is the fact that they could not get a key fob issue under control, after the front desk lady told an older couple theyd be escorted to their room right after her speaking i asked if there was any way they could make two keys as well as was going to be how the stay went for the rest of the day just every guest being escorted due to their room due to the key fob issue. The woman at the front desk told me she wasnt done and that i shouldn’t have spoke though she just told them to go with the person right of us. Indifferent abt her name or who she is but if management cared she is skinnier with a large mole on her face hard to miss caught a massive attitude becuase I guess she thought I spoke out of line even though she told the couple their escort to the room was there(key also didnt work). She after that told me that I had been down there three times and nothing else like me being down there three times was forbidding her from doing her job or out of her line of work hotel service. As well as her telling me she was not a little girl it was very clear she was a middle aged hotel worker. Overall bad customer service and the room was not cleaned well before coming . Stay somewhere else hilton ppl not up to the standard at all, imagine not being able to get into an uber because your key to maneuver the elevator doesnt work wish I could give zero stars.

It’s 1am, we are sleeping in the room (1515) with a do not disturb sign on the door, suddenly we are woken by someone entering our room. Once he noticed us he steps outside and I got up and followed him, an employee of the hotel, said he apologize. Obviously the night was ruined and we couldn’t sleep. I approached the front desk in the morning and they said they will check but when I got back there afternoon nobody knew what I was talking about so I asked to speak with the general manager and since it was weekend he wasn’t there. Long story short the next day before I checked out I met with the general manager who completely rejected my claims saying there were 2 employees at the hotel at night and they both claim it never happened saying he needs to check the lock for the history of who entered. This is a major privacy concern, no knock on door, disregarding do not disturb sign someone entered our room in the middle of the night. This is the story exactly as it happened only facts.
