My husband was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer, his surgeon changed the location of his surgery and these managers are refusing to give a verbal "Okay" to Expedia to do an exception waiver to refund $145.xx. Expedia supervisor even went as far as saying that she's never had a property be so adamant with their refusal to give a verbal to refund the customer as this location has been. We've stayed at Hilton properties for over two decades, but that'll changed after our experience with this location and these individuals. Great way of knocking a family further down than we're already feeling. I made a formal complaint with Hilton corporate as they were also surprised of how resistance the property was to allow for a verbal going above what their refund policy is. If you want a hotel that really cares about you as a customer and support a brand that has empathy for their customers, go elsewhere. Hilton will not be getting another penny from our family.
