- LWLaura Winge3 days ago5.0Absolutely fabulous hotel! The room was extremely spacious and well-appointed. Even had a clothes steamer. It was the quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Our room was right by the elevator and we never even heard a ding. Never heard doors slamming, etc. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed afternoons by the pool and the pool bar Sielo, which had great food and drinks in coconuts! They also had a DJ at times and live music at the pool bar in evenings. Location was perfect for access to all Clearwater Beach has to offer. The views from the pool, our room balcony and the hotel bar and restaurant might be the best in town for sunset. Will definitely be back to the Hiatus!

All staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, from valet up to check in the experience was seamless. Besides a great team the hotel itself was sublime. Everything had a cohesive aesthetic and even smelled so great. Such a great place to stay, relax and take in an incredible view every night. Highly recommended and will return. 10/10

- LLLeoDec 24, 20252.0The modern style rooms were excellent, the ocean view was amazing. Overall, the hotel was clean, my main complaint regards the service of the hotel. Our booking from Priceline included “Meal Plan: Breakfast is included at no extra charge” listed multiple times, but when we got breakfast and asked about the meal vouchers, we were told that we had to purchase a separate free breakfast package. We paid an extra charge (around $100) for our booking on Priceline for the “free* breakfast”, and the person at the front desk refused to help. Instead, the person didn’t want to tell us what services they offered or ask Priceline about their listing. When we asked for their manager, they left. This experience frustrated us. Asides from that, the waiters at the restaurant were actually quite nice, and provided exceptional food and service.

We arrived at sunset and Tina at the Front Desk was so friendly and kind. She offered the complimentary at sunset champagne and made us feel welcome! Loved the Aesthetic! I did like that the Front desk is on the 7th floor to get that WoW factor gorgeous view.. especially at sun set when we first arrived. Good job on all the little details! It definitely feels like homage to the sea and the feminine in the dining/ front desk area but the rooms have a more neutral, zen feel to them. I appreciated the lighting in the rooms, very nice! The motion sensor night light in the bath and the makeup mirror light, overhead lighting, dimmed lights and several lamps to change the mood. Comfortable beds. Multiple outlets. Upon waking the first morning, made an Expresso from the room machine, found a fluffy blanket in the armoire (with interior lights) wrapped it around me on the balcony while listening to the waves and watching the sunrise before breakfast, which was very good..Excellence service from Katie and Corina! The rooftop heated pool area is a definite plus with nice view of the beach although we didn’t dine in or go for a swim.. we heard the hotel resteraunt for dinner was good but chose to stay in our room instead and relax. Maybe add robes is all I can think of that would’ve been an appreciated extra. We had planned to stay only one night but extended. Thank you, we enjoyed our much needed Hiatus!
