Went for a girls trip beginning of November. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, but the timing we chose to go may have been part of the issue. The pools close an hour after sunset, which with daylight savings is fairly early, but that also means no hot tubs after that time so that was kind of a bummer but no biggie, the pool bars only stayed open until 9 so you’re kind forced to be back in your room by then. Food hall had posted hours but we were told they could basically close hours earlier if they were slow, so we couldn’t bank on having options at certain hours either. The website showed there were social hours but we were told that because they were between seasons, they did not have those drink specials. Brunch was advertised for one of the restaurants (Half Cracked) for Saturday and Sunday, which we even confirmed with our server when we ate there Thursday night but low and behold there was no brunch that Saturday when we arrived at 11, they had just closed a breakfast buffet that I never even saw advertised. What was funny is we did get brunch Sunday and the chalkboard outside said brunch was Saturday and Sunday. Also, we were there for “Ladies Night” Thursday for half priced appetizers, but this also meant half portions. lol We mostly enjoyed our food and drinks it was more about the communication of hours and offers. Also when we had asked a front desk lady if it truly was ladies night that Thursday, she said “is that a trick question?” To which we told her several things had been advertised that weren’t true so we were just making sure after several disappointments. You’re given a calendar with your room keys where it shows, in addition to social media, that Thursdays they offer complimentary chair massages in the lobby. We planned our morning around taking them up on this but when we saw nobody and asked the front desk they said “doesn’t look like it, check with the spa” so we went to the spa and asked and they said they were short staffed. So now that I’ve pointed out it seems to just be a communication problem with how they advertise and communicate within the resort, let’s talk about the good stuff. IMMACULATE views no matter where you’re at! We took several fitness classes while we were there and the instructors and classes were awesome. The pool wait staff was great and super attentive and one thing you did get upon check in that actually was true were BOGO drink coupons (beer, wine, & house liquor) so we loved that. Loved the variety of food options when what we wanted was accessible to us. All in all, as I started the review, it was a great girls trip, but do not always believe what you see advertised (or apparently on the check in agenda either.) I would go back, just with lower expectations.

My weekend stay at Sunseeker Resort was truly a beautiful and serene experience from start to finish. The property itself is stunning, with calming views of the Charlotte Harbour that immediately set the tone for relaxation. Between the peaceful atmosphere, great on-site food options, and fun events held on their rooftop Level Blue, the resort offered everything I needed for a refreshing getaway. One of the highlights of my stay was the Lorelei Spa. While on my way to the fitness centre, I decided to stop by to see if they had availability—and I’m so glad I did. I was warmly greeted by LaDonna and Belaci, who were incredibly accommodating and quickly booked me in for a massage the following day with Edyne. That massage was unforgettable. We added a foot scrub and gua sha, and the experience was so soothing that I fell asleep during the process. Edyne’s skills left me feeling relaxed, rebalanced, and fully refreshed. The next day, I returned for a foot service with Ms. Rhonda, who did an excellent job. She was patient, attentive, and open to adjustments, ensuring everything felt just right. Her care made the experience even more enjoyable. On my final day, I needed a quick eyebrow touch-up, and once again LaDonna and Belaci took amazing care of me. They paired me with Ms. Trecia, my Jamaican queen, who shaped me up beautifully. Overall, every visit to Lorelei Spa exceeded my expectations. The team’s hospitality was exceptional, and the relaxation I experienced was unmatched. Combined with the resort’s serene environment, scenic river views, great dining, and vibrant rooftop events, Sunseeker Resort delivered a truly unforgettable stay. I left feeling deeply satisfied and grateful—and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for real relaxation.

We loved the Sunseeker. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. The entire resort felt brand-new and well thought out. We got a couple's massage at the spa. The spa was amazing (relaxation room, fancy massage tables, drinks, front desk staff), but the actual massage was not great, which was disappointing given the price we paid. I hope they hire some more experienced / well-trained therapists. The food hall at the bottom of the resort was impressive. There were many options, and we never felt like we had to wait too long. The breakfast places were my favorite. In addition to the food hall, the on-site restaurants were excellent. We had a fantastic seafood boil at Half Cracked and a tender steak at Allegiant Stadium. We tried both pools, and they were beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend the Level Blue pool for adults and couples. The top-floor pool requires reservations and provides the ultimate relaxation experience. From the padded lounge chairs to the excellent food and drinks, it was worth it! I really can't say enough nice things about the staff at Sunseeker. Everyone was kind and helpful. Really recommend for a couple's getaway!

It’s a nice facility . The staff at the restaurants are very good. The wait staff up at the roof top pool are very poor. The wait staff in our area walked past us @ 12 times in the 2.5 hours we were up there and not once did she ask if we needed anything. She would literally ask the couple next to us and then ignore us. We called front desk and asked for a room cleaning between 8 and 10 yesterday morning because we had an appt outside the hotel and I wanted to nap when we got back . We got back at to the hotel @ 11 and the room hadn’t been cleaned. My wife went down to the pool and we put the do not disturb sign on the door so I could nap. I was just about to fall asleep when the maid knocked on the door and then opened the door announcing herself. I responded from bed to not come in and please respect the do not disturb door hanger. My wife notified the manager on duty of the staff misstep , he stated he would need to “ investigate” . He didn’t apologize just said he would get back with us later . A few hours later he called my wife in the room , no apology, and said he checked the video and the maid never entered the room. My wife asked him if the video also showed the do not disturb sign hanging on the door ? He responded curtly , you asked for service , again no apology. Well I am positive she opened the door , he didn’t mention this fact. I have to say in the 50 plus years of travel all over the world unfortunately this experience is definitely in the top 1 or 2 of unbelievably ridiculous and rude treatments we have ever experienced and although we plan on visiting this area for a few months a year to visit friends we are steering clear of Sunseeker and looking into better guest experiences on siesta key. I feel terrible for the people of port charlotte and punta gorda as with guest experiences like the one we had I expect sunseeker to fall flat and residents will be stuck with an out if business eye sore.
