The staff in the restaurant were superb and the food although simple four was well cooked and tasty. The location although off the beaten track was an excellent base to explore from. The hotel was let down by faulty air conditioning and a hot water system unable to provide hot water warmer the tepid. A pity as otherwise I would have given 5 stars

The hotel was clean, looked exactly like the photos and the rooms were immaculate, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food at the hotel was nice but nothing fantastic, the rooms were a great size, the location was about 45 mins from Miami Beach so if exploring there it costs a bit in Ubers to travel back and fourth, however it is not far from hard rock stadium, would stay there again.

We enjoyed our weekend at this hotel. The staff at the desk was kind, but the food options were limited on property and the pool wasn't open one night. The location was pretty close to where we needed to be, especially for the Dolphins game. There are lots of things to do nearby, too. The room was large and cavernous and the bed was a bit hard, but comfortable. A second chair would have been nice, as would housekeeping service (only serviced the room once in a weekend stay). Parking fee was a bit much (at $32 per night), but lots of hotels in the area have one.

"I was very disappointed with this Hilton hotel. We always stay at Hilton properties when we travel because they are usually a reliable choice. However, this time, the Serena did not live up to the Hilton brand standards. The bathroom was not clean, especially around the shower, and there were black fingerprints all over the door. During our second night, we were bitten on our legs by insects in the bed. We booked a room with a kitchen, but the pots and pans were extremely worn out, and the dishwasher was loose because it hadn't been installed properly. I also requested extra towels and waited 30 minutes, but no one ever came. When we returned later, the towels were in the bathroom, but the staff had left a large trash bag and a big bag of used towels right in the middle of the living room. We had to move them into the hallway and call the front desk; it took an hour for someone to finally come and collect them. Furthermore, the pool was closed for the entire three days of our stay. The front desk kept saying the maintenance team was coming 'that day,' but they never showed up. Regarding the location: there is nothing around except for old, abandoned houses. I would not feel safe walking alone in this neighborhood at night. In short, given the high price, I do not recommend this hotel at all!"

They had to get everyone out of the pool at 2pm on a Friday so they can clean algae and rust around the pool. Then when we finally get back in the pool a little kid poops everywhere in the water causing the pool to close and no refund available for anything after spending $150 on lunch and $100 for the pool day pass we were left without even an apology
