This review is mixed. I feel that is was good, but has the opportunity to be way better. To me it seems like it was another hotel and they just slapped the name Hilton in it without doing any form of repairs. I am okay with dated, but simple repairs is what did it for me. The front of the hotel was nothing special to look at, and I always found parking. We came for a conference at the Hilton. Our group was over 200 persons for the event. Not sure how many actually stayed there. The Pros: 1. Reception-( Check-in was smooth, they were friendly, Check in was at 4pm and they accommodated an early check in). 2. TV: Streaming was okay except when on YouTube, after a while it would sign you out. But for the majority of time, I could watch TV. 3. Coffee Shop in Lobby 4. Full length mirror 5. Bathroom lighting- Great! 6. Coffee supplies and Ice bucket 7. Bed- Great pillows, comfy bed and great bedding! 8. Service requests are responded to immediately. 9. Lots of outlets and USB for phone, etc. 10. Rooms dated but clean 11. Ball room- Spacious. 12. Plenty Facility rooms. 13. Gym. 14. Notice Board on 1st floor for your event. 15. Close to shopping and restaurants: Burlington, Denny’s, Wing Stop and a few more places but they close early. The Cons: 1. Had to grab a cart and bring your own baggage upstairs- maybe I’m just spoiled. 2. The Outlet for the fridge and the coffee wasn’t working although they were plugged in when I came. So no one used that room before? That’s odd. They came with another fridge but that wasn’t the issue. *In my friend’s room, their fridge didn’t work and toilet didn’t work. 3. Safe- Wasn’t working. Thought it needed a change of batteries but actually needed a whole repair. 4. Tub- Had a little creature in it. Not a big deal but they should check the rooms prior to check in. 5. Room- Needs more lighting- To dark. 6. Bar/cafe: Close to early. There was an event they should have had the facilities open late for persons who did not want to leave the hotel to buy food. This could’ve generated money inside the hotel, but I don’t own a hotel so what do I know? 7. Cafe: Pricey There are more Pros than Cons and so I would stay here again!! They just need to do a few updates and they’re good!!

The hotel itself was decent. The staff at the front desk were friendly. The hotel didn’t have hot water at all the two nights we were there maintenance had to come fix it 3 times in one night and they said the boiler wasn’t working properly. When I went to shower the next day no water again. So it was a known issue with the maintenance but the front staff acted like they had no idea. They then changed us to a different room saying that we shouldn’t have a hot water problem and when we got there, there was no hot water so we then left and went to a better nicer hotel. The assistant general manager acted like he didn’t care and wasn’t willing to give us a refund or anything he just kept giving us the run around.

I visited the Hilton Orlando Altamonte Springs for a business meeting. The hotel is conveniently located close to I-4, a mall and other shopping centers, restaurants, and activities, like miniature gold and Cranes Roost Park. When arriving, I noticed the grounds are well maintained. Entering the spacious lobby, there is plenty of seating, a bar, a sundries shop, and restaurant. They offer several meeting spaces that can be configured to different sizes, and setup, depending on the event. The staff is courteous and helpful. The only negative noticed, was when returning to my car, the strip of parking spaces in front the hotel was not well lit. There are lights in parking lots, but in that part there are also quite a few trees.

They could actually be a full LEGIT 5 star hotel but, with that being said they lack in a few areas. From 4-6pm you should definitely have more than 1 person working at the front desk. Upon my checkin the lady in front of me was enquiring about pricing for a son who was going to be working in the area for several weeks needed quotes, etc. Checkin was smooth once I got to the front desk associate and she was very welcoming. The lobby, elevators, all great. My room was clean and presentable. The toilet however ran all night, the AC would not cool past 78 no matter how cold you put the thermostat at, its also extremely noisy. Food at the bar was just so-so but service was good by both bartenders. Parking is tight and they had a large group 500+ so they took up a good many parking spots up front. Fix the staffing issues, improve your food and offerings, and most importantly fix the AC in the rooms. I got NO sleep with it being extremely warm.
