I was visiting some friends who were staying at this location. My observation was that it is in desperate need of renovation. Everything about the hotel screamed old...the paint, the broken doors, the public restroom with the bug infestation, the elevator (which was insufferably slow and groaned with all kinds of noises), the furniture, etc. Its a mid-level hotel but they could certainly do better, even for mid-level.

I've stayed in this hotel before multiple times for a conventions with our church. However my most recent stay in October from the 17th to the 19th for a wedding was not at all pleasant. Upon arrival the room seemed clean but had a odor. We were able to eliminate that by buying our own cleaning products. The television did not work. Then the night before the wedding when we were trying to get sleep the AC unit blew setting up Sparks in too loud popping sounds that sounded like gunshots. My sister and I were both unable to sleep after this event. She has severe PTSD after being in the military she was most definitely triggered and unable to sleep and stay in the room. We tried calling down to the front desk only to find that the phone in the room did not work as well. We had to get dressed walk all the way down to the front desk only to be told they might be able to move us to one room that they might have however my sister not feeling safe was not able to stay the night manager was very nonchalant about the situation. He behaved as if he couldn't care less or be bothered. We ended up having to sleep in her car in a secure location. This has to be the worst time I've ever experienced anything like this at any hotel. And having stayed here previously I was definitely not expecting this kind of service. Things not working trying to call housekeeping and the front desk not happening due to broken phones broken televisions. No solutions were offered for any of these items. Also no concern was given to the emotional state that my sister was in. Anyone who understands how PTSD feels or has family members going through these types of things it's not a simple situation. It takes more than moving to a room that you might be able to get us in.

I stayed at this hotel on Friday and Saturday for a conference. I checked in on the Hilton app and picked my room out on Thursday morning at 8am. I arrived at the hotel on Friday around 3:25pm and went to the desk since my digital key had not been sent. I was told my room wasn't ready yet and when I asked when it might be I was told "not for awhile" and that the housekeeping was in the other tower still. I was offered different rooms, but I picked the room I did because no one would be above us and we wouldn't have neighbors on one side. They couldn't put me in a comparable room so I chose to wait. I appreciate that "not for awhile" ended up being only about 25 minutes and we got into our room a few minutes after 4. The hotel restaurant/bar was ok. The staff were good. There are signs saying their system is down so they only take cash or room charge. A bit inconvenient, but it is what it is. I sat in one of the bar chairs and thought it might be a little rickety, but apparently they all were like that so maybe they're designed that way? I don't know, but I didn't like the way they moved and thought I was going to end up on my ass a couple of times. The door stopper for the bathroom door in the room is in a very inconvenient place. My left foot hit it every time I went to use the toilet. Be careful! My biggest gripe with the hotel involves the desk chair. The desk chair arm was torn and broken. When I went to get up after eating lunch my shorts caught on the piece of metal that was exposed and ripped my shorts. I went down to the desk to complain and the kid working said he would have a new chair sent up and that he may be able to offer some compensation but couldn't promise anything. Neither thing happened. When I checked out I mentioned this to the woman working the desk and she said she would fill out an incident report. I sent her a picture of the chair and the shorts when I got home. It's been about 24 hours. I'll update if something comes from this.

The Customer Service was absolutely amazing, especially Mr. Peter at the front desk. He resolved a reservation issue for us. Although he was extremely busy, he was able to resolve my issues while simultaneously take care of walk inquires. My refrigerator only had 3 legs and wobble as I went in and out for my items. The air-conditioning in the room made a loud annoying sound for 2-3 minutes before the air-conditioning would kick on, and I could never get the temperature right. The lamps shorted twice when I plugged into the sockets on the base of the lamp. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared to have begun to rotten like possible water damage. Beds, bathroom, furniture was clean and the room was fresh. Heyyyy the Fresh Hot cookies given downstairs get 5 Stars The employees were great, however I was a little disappointed with my room.
