Noisiest rooms in DC. Worn out and very poorly managed. I'm referring to upper management here. Staff was wonderful, but they probably are micromanaged like heck, trying to save a penny to the determined of the guests. Breakfast is included if you are willing to get up at the crack of dawn. Not Hilton standards and this is in the capital of our nation.

I have to point out, this was one of the most beautiful rooms at amazing reasonable prices I've ever spent my week in.
The ONLY problem I faced was the air quality which ended up making me sick. Every morning I woke up with intense soreness and dryness in my throat making breathing difficult for the subsequent few days. I should've just left but didn't which was a misjudgement on my part, and it was pre-paid so that was another thing.
Also, the laundry unit was right outside my room and I could hear people and kids being loud a lot. Thankfully it wasn't as loud after 10 pm, but still I was hoping for some peace and quiet for my vacation.
The location is perfect for getting around and peaceful for walking, but these incidents made my vacation far from perfect.

$300 deposit at check in
$55-65 a day for parking plus $10 service fee daily for parking.
The included free buffet breakfast weekdays till 9 am and weekends till 10 pm was very convenient for us. We had an issue with our shower and had to have someone come up and fix it. No cots or rollaways available here. My son made a small bed out of sofa cushions and slept on the floor. We had a suit that was two double beds and a pull out sofa bed. So that’s perfect for a family of 5 with small children. We have three big teenagers so it was a tight fit but it worked for our dc vacation. We drove into downtown Dec and paid $30 for garage parking each day. There are lots of electric scooters and bikes to rent using different apps that you could use to get downtown to government buildings, monuments, and museums. If I did it again I would probably use those more and spend less on vehicle parking in dc. There was a gym on site though we didn’t use it since we did so much walking each day. There is a Safeway grocery store right across the street so very convenient to grab some items and stock the small kitchenette in the room. There was a fridge, freezer, microwave, and small stove in the room for us to use.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my whole life. Everything from trying to find the parking garage to my actual room was awful. I accidentally drove into the parking garage not knowing valet was suppose to park, once I was inside I had to call the office twice to get out because someone locked us inside, for over ten minutes my family and I were locked inside the garage waiting for someone to open the garage door. Once the man in charge of valet opened the garage door, he didn’t instruct us on where to go, he just yelled at us telling us we need to leave. That’s it, no help what’s so ever. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Downtown Washington DC is a bit confusing to people who have never been we made a simple mistake. However, if you’re running a valet service it’s your responsibility to be on the premises at all times. So we circled back two time to figure out where to pull in. Finally after looking for what seemed forever, I went into the office and the desk manager guided us out. I was already reluctant because the man running valet was rude not to mention he was smoking a blunt in front of my family. I refused service from him after witnessing that, I ended up finding a separate parking lot. Once we finally got up to our room instantly had issues. The A/C filter had a code showing on the thermostat saying it needed to be replaced. The carpets were highly stained, the walls were filthy, the wallpaper in the room was quite literally peeling off in different spots. The headboard was peeling everywhere, the duvet was not assembled properly it was just thrown on top of the blanket. The duvet had multiple large holes in it as well. The only thing I was looking forward to was a hot shower. That did not happen. The water was warm for maybe 6 minuets before it got cold again. This was the worst experience I have ever had in my whole life. Truly disgusting behavior of the staff here and extremely unprofessional. The room should be investigated and repaired before allowing another family to stay there!

Much has changed in the past year. Great location to the NoMa station and Union Market. The staff is always pleasant and friendly.
However, the upkeep seems to be deteriorating. The breakfast at this particularly time for most of the stay the toaster did not work, the juice machine was out of order. No waffle maker. I was disappointed since I was just here earlier this year.
They accommodated early check-in but the room was not fully cleaned. A pair of socks was left behind from previous guest, hair in the shower, and no garbage bag in one of the bins.
Elevator had stains on the doors for two days straight. I politely bought that to their attention. The floor carpet is torn. But they renovated the lobby. So I believe they will work innovations up to each floor. The gym was fully open.
With all this being said, I will give them another chance. Because I believe this is not who they really are. This is not Hilton standard.
