Ok experience at Homewood Suites. Pros- decent price, convenient location to the conference center, good morning breakfast, walkable to everything. Cons - lacking amenities first couple of days like bath gel that I didnt even know I was missing because there was no holder in the shower for the mountable container, cover cleanliness was suspect as the duvet covers are fairly worn as was the headboard pleather and office chair was ripped to shreds. Asked for replacement office chair and the next one was also ripped in many places. Service is every other day so had items of concern replaced/added. Heating unit was unresponsive the first night which we didnt realize until early hours of morning so a cold first night. Just stuff that the hotel could do better with to make all of the pros even better.

Was not disclosed that they do not serve standard breakfast meats, no pork. Images online show a large selection but no pork products (bacon, sausage, ham) they often had taco meats. Plenty of scrambled eggs and they also had hard boiled eggs. To me this is an important part of hotel selection and part of the determination of value.

Came for a conference and hotel location was within 7-8 min walk which was nice. Felt safe and there was security on site. Staff were responsive and friendly. Hotel room was clean but does need to be updated. Digital key option did not work for left elevator. Hot breakfast options could be better. Sausages were over-cooked and rubbery. Biscuits were dry.

Overall, the stay wasn't horrible but I definitely will pick an alternative hotel for future trips. The staff was nice and breakfast was great; however, the room was not clean. For example, there was very noticeable dirt/dust build up around the shower and a dirty washcloth by the nightstand. They seemed to wipe down the essentials and nothing else.
