Older hotel. Nice comfortable rooms. Not fancy. Felt very safe. Location is convenient. Because our group always met in the lobby, I asked at different times if anyone knew how to turn the fireplace on. It’s cold in the lobby because of the doors and the fireplace would be pretty. Not a single employee knew how to turn it on. One person said they had been here 2 years and had never seen it on. Come on Hilton. You can do better. Otherwise would recommend for couples or family. Again, not fancy but clean and neat. Housekeeping and front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again.

Bad service the bed was no good . I can’t sleep all night. I talked to the front desk early in the morning. Please change the bed. They just ignore me. They need more experience.

We saw the good side of the hotel and the bad side. The staff are either really nice or rude and unfriendly, no in between.
On the weekends there was a buffet breakfast which as great then on the weekday it was a menu and it was awful. We paid for breakfast in advance and on the weekends, could have an omelette but on the weekday, they completely refused to make a simple omelette, which was bizarre considering I could have had steak and eggs.
My son had his 8th birthday on the weekend and the lady who served us couldn’t have been nicer but on the weekday, she wasn’t there and the service at breakfast was awful.

The location is excellent; close to the DC sites and many restaurants located nearby.
The White House is just a few blocks away.
We did not rent a car, which was a good decision because the cost to park it and the lack of parking all around the National Mall area make it impractical.
The rooms were adequate; double queen beds with nice pillows and bedding. The side car and desk cars were not very comfortable, but we didn't spend time in the room except late at night. The bathroom was average, with good water pressure and temperature for showering.
The bar area is small but nice, and adjoining the restaurant. Breakfast is very nice, with an omelet chef and full buffet spread.
We will stay there again on our next trip to that area.
