Great staff, but could use a little bit of maintenance. But mostly good. I will stay again.

The rooms were decent, but as a solo female, watch out for the creepy employees at the hotel, even the night security guards. The lobby definitely needs a renovation or at least change the leather chair that's already peeling off. Also, I forgot a leather jacket in my room closet, I called multiple times to check to see if anyone found it, I called for a few days in hopes of reaching someone, but I kept getting the runaround. The front desk lacks customer service. When I finally spoke to someone about never receiving a call back like I was told, the man at the front desk told me that I should call back in 45 minutes, otherwise they won't return my call. Anyway, I was finally told that they couldn't find my jacket, which I specifically hung in the closet. I forgot to check the closet before check out, and now I'm not sure what happened to it. Just a caution to not forget anything there, because you will never find it again.

Do not stay here!!! Customer service is awful! Andrew is awful and very nasty! When I arrived they said valet was booked! We parked at Whole Foods 5 blocks away. Which was an inconvenience with bags, so we had to catch uber, they do not offer shuttle service, or anything for the inconvenience. They said I had to pay for valet in advance! This was the only overnight parking in the area! Which was $74 a night. When we arrived they said it was a security deposit, and I would get it back next day when I leave. Ok so when I checked out, I asked when I would get my deposit he said 24 hours. Well that did not happen, so I contacted the hotel. Well guess what he said I had valet on my bill I said no I did not your valet was booked! Andrew stated he was going to investigate the valet company, I said when he said, when I feel like it! Please don’t stay here! Worst experience and customer service! There something shady going on at this hotel! They take your money putting other cars on your room to collect money!

Stay was fine but the customer service in trying to cancel my first night was very disappointing. The first person I spoke to for 20+ minutes couldn't help me because my room was booked under a room block. They tried to transfer me to the actual hotel and no one was available so I had to call back. Upon calling back I was told the sales manager made a decision to not allow cancellations even though it was well before the 24 hour Hilton policy. That call wasted 10 more minutes. I asked to speak to a manager but no one was available and I was told I would get a call back. No return call was ever made so I had to pay an additional night on my stay. As a Hilton Honors member and regular traveler, I will choose my stays more wisely moving forward.

This hotel was a great find. You just walk across the street and your at the gates of the Nationals Ballpark. The restaurants around the hotel are plentiful. While the room was a bit small, it was nicely cleaned and the bathroom was also nice. Staff were amazing.
