It's been outstanding. Better than your typical Embassy Suites and the rooms are huge. Double queen and sofa bed combos great for our family - sofa bed pull out was great, not noisy, and king sized.
Breakfast was good enough, despite a hot choch machine not working, and bacon ran out for 5 minutes, but lots of staff to help fill up. Omelets were delicious and no line when I went, and huge amount of spacious seating. Afternoon drinks were actively served on the tables with cheese cake and food with an included voucher. Over serviced, which was great compared to other embassy suites.
Rooms were good, very clean, and spacious. Housekeeping were outstanding as always. So nice to have a pool, but strange location near the foyer for people with bathers (with a back entrance); not great for modesty unless you want to change in the back bathrooms, but I didn't wear my mankini this time.
Our family is turning into more of a Hilton's Suites type of family just for the multi-room space and facilities.
Waited in line for omelet about 40 minutes and when got our omelet they removed all silverware because it was time to close. They removed everything from the buffet including the bread, juice, milk, everything. So my family and all people who waited were basically punished for waiting in the omelet line. When requested silverware I was told no we closed. This is ridiculous. I had to go to our suite to get silverware and it was not enough. Another thing that's ridiculous is their parking fee of $70. I paid $30 to park in the Ritz Carlton garage one block away.

While we stayed at the Hilton Club, we had an extremely negative experience with an Embassy Suites staff member - one of the doormen. Very strange, inappropriate behavior. When I asked if he knew where there was parking nearby, he leaned in close, put his hands on my shoulders, and turned me in the direction of a spot nearby. Guy’s lucky he didn’t get knocked out. He apparently had an issue with me, as my family and I noticed him walking near us for no apparent reason several times, always glaring directly at me. He also appeared to follow me up to the 9th floor and glared at me in the hallway after making it clear that his Embassy Suites territory was below the 8th floor. Tall, lanky, African-American man for his description. He should be fired.
Poorly managed and chronically understaffed.
Highlights: made to order omelette breakfast. Everything else at breakfast tastes pretty disgusting and other people have told me they threw their breakfasts out as soon as they tasted it. There’s a line out the door for breakfast at 7:30qm and you’re on it for half hour. Food stock is not replenished. Milk is out at 7:10am. The cereal mill won’t turn, you have to fish for a clean bowl.
At dinner there are only 2 waiters working in a dining room of hundreds and one chef. I feel for the workers as they are chronically understaffed. Management needs to do better.
They also tried to sell us a timeshare and insisted it wasn’t a timeshare. Pretty sharky behavior.

We were traveling during the holiday season, and booked this hotel. The rooms were pretty good, and the overall area was nice. The location was just ok, as the nearest metro station is several blocks away. However, the services were very bad. The line for breakfast was absolutely ridiculous. Waited for more than 15 minutes. This is probably because of the holiday season, and the hotel is busier than usual, but they should be able to manage all these people. Also the utensils and plates were not clean. There were still stains on it and it was very wet. The breakfast was lacking options, and the choices were very limited. On one of the days there wasn’t even any meats. Items like yogurt and milk ran out very quickly. There were so many people in the breakfast area that there were no more seats left. We were very lucky to be able to find places to sit, because some people were literally sitting on the floor. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. It is quite nice to have a happy hour in the evening, but the hotel clearly could not handle this. The seating area was just as crowded as it was in the morning, and the free items were very limited. That’s actually ok because you can order more stuff (that is not free, but they give you a free $50 coupon to spend every night). It sounds really nice until it isn’t, because it is physically impossible to order anything without waiting for an eternity. When you want to order something, you have to wait for the waiter/waitress to come to you and take the order. But in the entire hotel, there was ONLY ONE waiter. Now you can use your brains, how long will it take one singular human being to take the orders, serve, and accommodate a full house of customers. We literally had to flag the waiter down just to order our food, and it still took about one and a half hours for the food to come (not including the time it took us to find the waiter). Now don’t get me wrong, it was not the waiter’s fault. He was doing his very best to try and serve everyone. The problem is the hotel management. They really need to deck up their services to accommodate all those guests or just don’t go above the comfortable capacity. If you are not going to stay during busy season, you should be just fine. Everything else about the hotel is very nice. But if you are traveling for holiday, you should think twice about staying at this hotel, and be prepared to wait a long time for breakfast and stuff like that.
