Theft in the room, windows washer on 8th floor peeking in without notice and fire alarm testing for a whole day!

Please do not stay in this hotel, it’s mold everywhere. You can barely breathe, i couldn’t sleep the whole 2 days I spend in this place… everything it’s so outdated to the gym to the pool and many other stuff in the room.
Read the reviews before you book…

Great stay here while visiting colleges with my daughter. Right on the metro, plenty of room, attentive staff and great breakfast included with made to order omelets. Nice sized gym with a Peloton and a pool. Would def stay again.

I have been a Hilton Honors member for years now and my stay here is the only awful experience I have ever had.
I was about to sleep when I felt my throat getting itchy so I looked around and saw that the vent in my room has molds.
I called the desk 2x from my room, no answer. I dialed their number on the website and finally someone answered. Marly offered to move me to a different room and I have to go down to the lobby to pick up the key. Now this building does not have a straightforward going up and down, you have to take two separate elevators. Anyway, I asked her to bring up the key to my current room. She did and I asked her to check if there are molds in my new room and that is when she gave me an attitude. She said that she's leaving and she's not allowed to go inside a room, all this while she was walking away.
There was no sense of urgency to move me. Nobody even offered to help move my luggage. Mind you, this was close to 11pm.
In any case, molds in the vents. Yes and nobody even apologized. See pictures.
The bar and restaurant staff were great which is why I'm giving 2 stars for service.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in Washington DC. It's a nice flashy hotel with a very nice suite. The staff are very friendly and the selection food at breakfast was perfect choosing from continental to cooked of your choice. The Gym and Swimming Pool were perfect and I had a very good swim there and used the jacuzzi afterwards and it was a great experience after a days outing for a City Break Holidaymaker from the UK like myself.
I reccommend this hotel and the experience was wonderful!
