I want to give a shout out to Frank, I got in on an early flight and he was able to get me into a room with no issues. He also made me feel very comfortable as a solo traveler and appreciated as an Honors member. The overall staff are so kind and willing to help, which makes your stay 10x better. It is an older hotel with charm. They have renovated the rooms (it also had a lovely scent when I walked in). I love the location as it’s close to many local attractions and a variety of restaurants.

Service is 6 STARS! Everything from check in to housekeeping, doorman and banquet staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Extra shout out to FRANK, he was professional, kind and clearly takes pride in his job (front desk). He really went the extra mile to assist me in a last minute reservation. Also, Karen, 7th floor housekeeping was so sweet and accommodating. The staff at the Cap Hilton love this place and it shows. Will return.

- SDSerg DymovNov 14, 20252.0I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for a good couple of decades. Never been big on hotel feedbacks, just want to warn people who expect a genuine 4-star experience. That’s NOT the place that’ll give you that. Things that stand out are very mediocre breakfast and indifferent-to-rude staff. One of the waiters bluntly told my wife that he didn’t care in response to her request for a descent, machine-brewed coffee. The very same waiter tried to force me to write tips in the breakfast bill. Front desk failed to provide final hotel bill including prepaid room charge despite my booking the stay via hhonors home page. Still don’t have the bill;) We had to move to another hotel around the corner for the rest of our stay at DC.
