I adore The Morrow— especially Dexter who went above & beyond to make sure I could celebrate a friend. Liquors stores were closed— but he made sure I could find a bottle to celebrate my friend. Highly recommend!!

My stay at The Morrow was amazing, from the atmosphere/ambiance, to the on site amenities, and the staff, we were very well taking care of. I loved every detail and concept that The Morrow has brought to the Noma area, it was perfect for my staycation. I have to shout out Dexter and Frank for their hospitality and overall service. I will definitely be back. I was looking forward to attending “Trap Yoga” and made efforts to that next morning however it was the Saturday after Halloween so I understood attendance would not be high. It was only me and my girlfriend. Overall The Morrow did that and continues to be a recommendation to all of my friends/family that visit the DC area. For anyone that wants a close, clean, exceptional lux experience, and truly a home away from home, The Morrow is it!

The hotel itself was nice and clean, and the rooftop was by far my favorite part. I really enjoyed having cocktails by the firepit area….such a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, several issues during our stay made the experience disappointing. Our shower was completely stopped up Friday night. When maintenance came to fix it Saturday morning, the repair caused the room to smell like sewage, forcing us to move to another room. The second room was noticeably smaller, although the manager, Kingsley, insisted it was the same size. I also had to request extra washcloths four or five times before finally receiving them. To his credit, Kingsley did his best to be accommodating. He was polite and professional, offering a $50 food credit and removing a $90 fee from our bill. However, the problems didn’t stop there. On Sunday morning, our safe wouldn’t open. I notified Kingsley, and after several failed attempts by maintenance, it took nearly three hours and physically removing and breaking into the safe to retrieve our belongings. This delay caused us to miss our dinner reservations and the final activities we had planned for our last night in D.C. By the time the safe issue was resolved, we decided to dine at the hotel restaurant. The lemon drop I ordered was terrible, and the Riesling wine was flat. Even after asking for a fresh bottle, the experience was disappointing. While the hotel has potential and a few standout amenities, the number of maintenance problems and service missteps made our stay far less enjoyable than expected. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this property again!
