I’d like to start by giving a huge shoutout to the front desk staff. They welcomed us warmly and upgraded our room right away. Special thanks to Haneef at the front desk for his constant smile during check-in and for thoroughly explaining everything about the facility. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Room service did an excellent job accommodating our requests for extra pillows, towels, and water. The on-site restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, but it offers a beautiful rooftop setting and is a great place to enjoy dinner. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I honestly don’t understand how this is a 5 star hotel. I’ve been to quite a lot in major cities as well not so I have expectations when coming in. The look of the hotel and rooms are great though but there’s things that overall wouldn’t justify the 5 star rating. First thing in our room I noticed was a lack of a fridge. Our leftovers would just end up going bad nor could we store the energy drinks we have bought. No robes or slippers either which I also typically expect. I had to request and even then, for the hotel not being busy, it took forever so I had to tell them to leave it in the room while we went to go get food. When getting ready for bed, I noticed the pillow had stains in it and it looked easily washable or should’ve just been replaced. As well as the bedding had tears too. I was quite disgusted by that. The food…. Is mediocre and small for the price that it is. Enough said there. We believe our chicken also was not fully cooked when we got room service and we ended up not eating it and were too tired to say anything. At a 5 star, you’d expect dining to be brought in properly and promptly however it would be some random person each time (you can’t even tell if it’s staff) and they’d bring it in Tupperware. The restaurant on the rooftop wasn’t welcoming either each time we went. The menus on the site for in room dining and the restaurants are wrong because in person, I didn’t see any of the items we wanted. When I asked, the manager said oh it’s wrong and needs to be updated. However, from what I see still, it’s not updated and definitely misleading for guests. Lastly, we were charged a daily resort fee but it was not brought up at time of check in. When I asked what it included, they said one of the things are the energy shots and I said oh this was never brought up at time of check in and that we would’ve loved that as we were staying there for running errands and moving into DC. They said all this was mentioned and I know I was being lied to and gaslit because I asked my sister and she said no, they never mentioned energy shots or daily resort fee or anything. I was not in a mood to fight back as like I said we had a lot going on and sometimes you gotta take your losses. Also, when I asked for bellhop and assistance they were not welcoming nor looked like they wanted to help. They weren’t even willing to bring it to the car and I was like can you please help??? With frustration So they did. The service is not great and the staff needs to work on themselves. The first bellhop guy who assisted was awesome though at time of check in and positive energy! We loved him. Otherwise, yeah. Like I said - not sure how it’s 5 star hotel.

SO NICE!!!!! everything about the room was wonderful. three, even the people staying at the hotel were wonderful. every time you’d enter the elevator, always a hello and conversation. that might’ve been luck but it was very homey! overall, 10/10 experience, we’d definitely stay again. big shout out to rehana, i didn’t get the rest of the staffs names but lovely team, accommodating us was the cherry on the top. would love to come back againnn!

The location was decent, but the service really missed the mark. The food wasn’t worth the price at all—especially for a place that calls itself “fine dining.” Very underwhelming. Customer service was probably the biggest disappointment; the energy was not welcoming whatsoever. I’d honestly rate it a negative 10. The rooms were clean, which I’ll give credit for, but they overcharge for things that don’t even make sense. For the price, it’s absolutely not worth it. You’re better off paying a little more for AKA in Adams Morgan, which is actually worth every penny. The only standout was the valet staff—they were AMAZING. Super welcoming and friendly, which made it even more surprising that the front desk staff left such a poor impression. Overall, it just didn’t give what it was supposed to give.
