- LMLorraine MylanOct 23, 20253.0This mid October I stayed at the Homeward Suites 90 Miles Rd in Wallingford CT. This is listed as supposedly a 4.8 hotel. While the room was nice, for the amount I paid, which was a mind-blowing $457.75 with taxes, many things fell short and seemed odd. The first thing I noticed was the hotel was full of non-speaking English coming and going out of the rooms on my floor. I also noticed what seemed like homeless people coming up and down the halls. On one person I detected the smell of pot and on another the person with a dog, the smell of human excrement. Housekeeping never cleaned our rooms in the entire time except for one day when I asked them to. I emptied my own trash, cleaned and got my own towels. When I mentioned it to the man that checked me out, as to who exactly is staying in this hotel, he informed me that are all paid customers. By whom? I thought? The Goverment? Us and our tax paying dollars. This does not, in my opinion, seem like a 5 star hotel. Not with the shenanigans that seem to be going on and obvious.
