We traveled to CT to celebrate my niece's senior night (total of 4-5 rooms). The room and location were great and most of the staff were amazing, especially Sherry and Sara in the Trophy Room. However, Jodie needs to go - she not only is an embarrassment to your hotel, she will likely cost you return customers. After my niece's senior night, we went back to the hotel because she wanted to be someplace quiet where she could enjoy the company as we all traveled quite a distance to celebrate her. As part of my family sat at the table, a few of us walked toward the elevator and heard Jodie talking with another staff member about not wanting to serve us so late - it was 9pm but the kitchen was open until 10pm. After we returned from our room and sat down with other family members and friends, Jodie came over and leaned on the table and said, "it would have been nice if you would have made a reservation as I am the only one here. It is common courtesy to give us a call." Keep in mind that my sister asked about making a reservation upon check in and the front desk stated that they didn't take reservations but it should not be a problem to get served at 9pm for a party of 10. When we tried to inform her of that and asked if we should just leave, she became more condescending and rude. We ended up leaving and going to Applebee's where that establishment and serve made our night better.

The location is, of course, great. My main complaint is that the staff is not quite doing its job. They forgot to clean our room, even though when we were leaving the building that morning I talked to the cleaning staff upstairs and the receptionist downstairs that we wanted our room serviced. It was surprising to discover upon our return in the evening that absolutely nothing was done in our room, we didn't even have clean towels. Then, that same evening, my husband started feeling very sick and the following morning I requested a late check out and was told very coldly (no reaction to my husband's sickness) that this will cost extra cash (I requested 2pm). I think that the hotel, which is full of very nice Huskies memorabilia, should hire people who have human emotions.

This location odd truly on campus next to residence dorms, private gated parking. I’ve stayed at other graduate hotels this one by far surpassed expectations and set the bar high. The staff was excellent, both helpful and friendly. The location was very clean, decorated to embrace all things UConn and quaint. Rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable and clean. Really good mattress. Water pressure was great, and hotel was generally quiet at night.

The perfect alumni nostalgia moment 💙 Room was adorable and well sized. The lobby floor is an old basketball court, the CT details all over the place are perfect. Parking was gated - no chance of a ticket this time!

Rooms are dark and dreary, lighting is poor, bathrooms are dated, and the rooms lack conveniences such as microwaves. The bathroom cleanliness was questionable. No laundry facilities; staff offered no suggestions either. No ATM available in the lobby, but staff said the nearest was at a CVS, which was closed. Probably was a too old fashioned request. It's a college campus, so who does cash? All that with an unsurprisingly snarky text conversations via the app. Nothing extra at all with your reservation. Nothing! Be ready to pay for parking, too. Very overpriced and not a good overall vibe. Not worth it.
