I usually have nothing but great things to say and I always make sure to tip well, leave positive, detailed reviews about my experience and tell my business associates, friends and family about my stay. Well, after my previous stay (2 weeks ago) and now the extremely unhelpful, argumentative and downright combative conversation the i just had with some person named Cameron I'm leaving this negative review, will not be staying here after this current stay and will be sharing this with people just as I had shared my positive experiences. I'm driving in to CT from Florida and all i was attempting to ask is that they could try to have my room ready for 2pm instead of 3pm. She WOULD NOT help me and kept telling me "they'll notify you when your room is ready.....check-in is at 3pm". Even after I tried explaining what I was asking she just seemed annoyed. She is rude and I will no longer be staying at any Hilton after this, especially what used to be my favorite hotel (the Hilton in Southington).

Left a bag in room by mistake.called hotel 20 minutes later. Housekeeping stole my stuff. Claimed nothing was there! Went there in person 2 front desk staff were very nice trying to assist until 1 rude one came over. Very nasty attitude. Called me sweety!!!!! Like I was a child when I. Reality I have 2 daughters her age. She then brought out 1 gift that she said was found...after saying nothing was left and that gift was in the bag that I left that was missing!!! I was the victim yet treated awful so I had to call the police and make a police report.

Rooms are spacious, and clean. What always stands out to me, is the customer service/ the interactions with staff. Always welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay. From the front desk reception, kitchen, cleaning and maintenance staff. Yesterday, the car I was utilizing to travel in CT, had lost battery charge and although I had jumping cables I didn’t have another vehicle to power the dead battery. It was amazing to let reception know if they could help and they immediately called Johnny, the maintenance tech…. he quickly made it to my car and in no time, had my car up and running. To me, that’s what makes you feel like home and a true community. It’s not part of the hotels responsibility but the staff always going above and beyond… it’s beautiful to see and experience. I would HIGHLY, recommend booking, if you are looking to stay anywhere in the radius surrounding or near the Southington, CT area, with Homewood Suites! You won’t regret it :)
