    I usually always stay in these rooms for mini stay cations. I booked last minute and had to end up paying about $650 for a night. I was fine with it because like I said I’ve always found this hotel pleasant. How ever the security guard/ maintenance man that is fairly new in the hotel gave me such a hassle. My night ended abruptly as my children and I were in the pool. He stormed into the pool area demanding that everyone had a bracelet to access the pool area. (There was a family in the pool for about 2 hrs with no bracelet) but once my family entered there was an issue. Once he realized that all of the people in the pool area weren’t with me he personally went and got the yt family bracelets and told me that me and my family had to leave. I was only refunded $150 holding fee that is administered during check in (not mentioned in price) and I was out of the rest of my money. I was there 4 hrs. I was told to call corporate for my money back due to the discrimination and when I did corporate never followed back up with me after a week, and when I finally got them on the phone they told me that there was nothing that they could do about it. This was highly disappointing. I wanted for my daughter to enjoy herself because she just lost her father. When I looked up there was 2 separate blk families all dealing with issues. I asked corporate to pull the cameras and only a request was made. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I’ve probably spent nearly 10k with this hotel over the years. I am completely done! If you want a better experience go to southington. I give up on them all together. I am in utter disbelief

    I booked this hotel for my mom’s birthday. My sister and I went to decorate the hotel and brought my mom to surprise her, we stayed a few minutes then left. My mom told me the front desk kept calling the hotel room phone after I left and got home, then a man came banging on the door stating that they saw on camera 7 people staying in the room. So my mom kindly invited him to come in and check the room because it was only her and my dad there. He never apologized for his mistake. The same way he check the cameras to come up with his own numbers, he should’ve checked the cameras to see that my sister and I left a couple minutes after escorting my mom up to her room. Mistakes happen, that I do understand, however they should be addressed and accounted for. I will not book with them again.

    Employees were great, smiling faces. Room was clean and maid service was around all the time. Breakfast was not great but good. They had fresh everything and made sure everything was stocked. They also had fresh strawberries! We had an excellent stay.
