We love this hotel for its location, cleanliness, and amenities. Be mindful when booking, we booked a king bed deluxe and there was a connecting door to the neighboring room. It was VERY loud both nights of our stay, and the staff would not intervene before 10pm, stating that “they’re also entitled to enjoy their stay” before quiet hours (despite it being 8:30 pm with a sleeping child). While I totally understood the need to be fair to both parties, it was extremely disruptive, and I was disappointed in the lack of proactivity exhibited. Not very enjoyable in that regard, but we’d consider returning with better accommodations.

My wife and two young kids stayed at the Hilton Mystic for two nights in early November. Hailey and the team were very friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions and providing recommendations; the hotel even has a scavenger hunt and treasure chest that our kids loved. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to the aquarium and Olde Mistick Village, and a short drive to the seaport and downtown. The room was clean, the pool was warm, and the daily breakfast buffet was a perfect option. We would definitely recommend this hotel for families and can't wait to come back.

Although this hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown Mystic, it offers good amenities, large rooms, and plenty of seafaring charm! The hotel is clean and has random artifacts from the town’s maritime history. The rooms are very large, and have a large desk and seating so you don’t feel confined to a small bed.
The indoor pool was large and clean but the water temperature was still on the cold side (65-70 degrees). The gym was basic but clean and good for a simple workout.
The only negative was the noise from the hallway, so be aware you can hear voices and door closing if you are a light sleeper. But overall this was a great experience and good value for the price!

Great Team ! Led by Heather and her outstanding Team. Attention to detail and understanding your customers’ needs adds much value to the customer. Early check-in made a big difference in my decision to stay at this Hilton. It was a very special day and being fluid with the check in time. Was crucial.
Everyone was very friendly, facilities were exceptionally clean and the proximity to the attractions was the icing on the cake. I travel quite a bit and would rate this facility as top notch !!
All I can say is Thank you !! 😊

We booked a weekend stay at the Hilton (October 24) with our three young kids, choosing it over nearby hotels because of the family-friendly activities and poolside movies advertised on their website. We even planned our weekend schedule around these events, only to find out that evening that that none were happening.
When I asked about it, staff member Sariah was quite rude and said the events were “subject to change.” It was disappointing having to explain to our children—ages 1, 3, and 4—that there would be no “pool movie” as promised. I requested some kind of reimbursement since we chose this hotel at a higher rate compared to other hotels nearby (i.e. Marriot) specifically for these amenities, but the front desk (Heather) was unable to help.
I don’t see how difficult it would’ve been just to put a DVD into the pool projector?
The hotel did not live up to its “kid-friendly” reputation, and I wouldn’t recommend it for families visiting Mystic. We’ll stay elsewhere next time.
