Patricia was excellent setting us in with the room. Friendly and knowledgeable of the hotel and gave us plenty of tips on where to go to get the best pizza in town. Def recommend this hotel. Oh I forgot to mention the rooms were immaculate.

I come to New Haven annually, and how much I wish I found this hotel sooner. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a stay as much as I have here. It was a misunderstanding with my friend at her checkin , as she arrived earlier than me, and their system didn't show that I had booked multiple rooms. A night staff was quite strict with her but it was all sorted and refunded by the morning thanks to The loveliest manager. She even personally boxed an important package for her, and staff routinely offered me and my fellow guests freebies out of appreciation for our business. I have never felt more welcomed and appreciated, and boy have I experienced some nightmare service in this region at various other hotels. The affordable price, and human touch this establishment offers along with their clean and excellent facilities will make this my go to every year without a doubt

Patricia and her staff were very warm and friendly. It was immediately noticeable that they take pride in running and maintaining a clean, reputable establishment that guests will enjoy. Great place thanks to these folks…the breakfast staff, cleaning staff, front desk, etc, all were amazing. Professional and extremely responsive every time I saw a guest make any request whatsoever, and with genuine friendliness.

My husband and I are Gold Members and will be Diamond Members as of next week. This hotel is exactly what we expected after staying at so many locations in the past. It's basically brand new, clean, and you would never know by the looks and smell that it is dog friendly. We stayed here a week and a half back at the being of October 2025. Our interaction with the staff here during that time was great! They were all very professional and even sweet to offer suggestions on where to eat near by and take my one year old to play since there are a lot of local farms nearby. Safe area, easy parking, multiple entrances into the building after you get your key card, large common areas, and easy to take your dog outside regardless what side of the building you are staying on. Both sides of the building and out back have plenty of grass for your fur babies and they provide doggie poo bags on each side as well. Our room was large and as expected from a Home2 Suites. We have to set up a pack and play and even with that taking up a lot of room, there's still more than enough space in the room to move around without feeling cramped. This location is very close to shopping, restaurants, and easy to get in and out of. Just a side note, we had asked for a full kitchen suite since we cook every day. We assumed Homewood Suites and Home 2 Suites were the same thing since they are both considered extended stay hotels. The difference is that Home 2 Suites does not offer Suites with a stove top and oven, only a full size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. This location did offer us a cook top we could borrow from the front desk and also has a large grill out back. Hope this helps anyone looking for a great recommendation in New Haven!
