Clean rooms, good breakfast, and friendly front desk guy. No problems there, and I would recommend the hotel based on these factors. On reviewing my credit card after our stay, I discovered a separate transaction for $11.64. On reviewing my reservation email to verify the expected charge, I found a note buried at the bottom indicating that self-parking is $10/day + tax. I consider it dishonest business practice to not verbally present or directly notify the customer of actual fees and charges to be billed. Finding extra charges on my credit card after my stay feels a lot like someone slipping their hand into my wallet and helping themselves, hoping I don't notice. The desk agent never called out an additional charge during check in/out, nor did I receive any email indicating intent to bill for parking. I'm sure there's probably some small sign in the lobby, and the fee is admittedly buried in the email, but when the card is charged without explicitly notifying the customer, it feels like the hotel is trying to sneak the charge under the customer's radar. But here's the funny part: We arrived late in the evening and the lot was completely full. The front desk agent ran out while we were looking for a spot and told us not to park in Mountain Sports Outlet's lot as they tow, but instead to try and find a place at the sushi restaurant around the corner. We never parked in the hotel's lot, even to unload, but they still managed to charge us. Clearly, it seems like the parking fee is a blanket charge, regardless of whether or not you use the lot. There didn't seem to be any parking passes, extra security, or any enforceable way to determine who was parked there - but seeing as I didn't park there, I wouldn't know! I emailed the hotel and asked if they'd refund the fee. No response after about a week, so I called. The desk agent told me he was too lowly to issue a refund and to call back the next day. I did, and a refund was processed, coldly but without fuss. Third time is the charm. Suggestion to management: Preferably build your costs into the base price. If that's not possible, make purchasing a parking pass an option during reservation, or at least verbally state or email charges not included in the reservation. No one likes to see unexpected/surprise transactions; it soured an otherwise pleasant experience. Separately, the elevator was down when we arrived. Front desk guy seemed very versed in some reset process in the adjacent mechanical room to get it going again. Bit of a burning smell when he opened the mechanical room door, but to his credit he got it working.

We checked in around 9pm to a room I had reserved in advance. The check in was extremely simple and the staff beyond pleasant kind even giving us bottles of water when learning we had walk there through the storm from the bus station a mile away. We stayed in a one bed room with a beyond beautiful view overlooking a creek and fairly private from outside looks. The room was extremely clean with a large television and a selection of amenities such as a refrigerator and a miniature coffee maker. The breakfast included with your ticket price is yummy served in a time frame allowing people to sleep in. I felt welcomed and comfortable my entire stay

Nice clean hotel. Very nice home base location to go skiing from. There is a McDonald's and an outlet mall walking distance.

Solid hotel, just missing... Almost everything? Checked in and the individual at the desk was great. After a day of skiing my family enjoys hot cocoa: Hot water? Gone After they did replace it later that night... Cocoa? Gone (though the desk employee did come out and find some, no one was therefore at the desk) Upon entering the room: Lotion? Gone Took a shower: Shampoo? Gone Hot water? Gone after two minutes. We literally had to wait thirty minutes to get another two minute warm shower. We even waited for myself to shower the next morning and timed it. Water all the way on high, it lasted 2:30. Went to eat breakfast at around 7:45 (starts at 6) Biscuits and gravy? Gone. Told they weren't going to make anymore. They did put out French toast sticks around 8:30 in their place. Just be ready to be missing items. Good hotel spaces though.

This is my go to spot to stay when skiing and staying overnight. Affordable compared to other hotels nearby and is at a great location near tons of food and bar options. I noticed they’ve had a recent renovation since I stayed earlier in spring. And as always, all of the staff were super friendly and helpful!
