    After driving 16 hours, from Casper, Wy. I arrived in Woodland. Was looking to stay at the C... with my fellow co-workers, they had been in Woodland for 3 days. It was 8 pm, and i was vert tired, the young lady states that i would have to book online to get a reasonable rate. So after 5 minutes i drove 2 doors over and was greeted by Jaime, a real gem, who, after telling her i had driven 16 hours and was tired and needed a room, quickly had me situated and relaxing in a very comfortable and spacious king room. Thank you Jaime! :-)

    Stayed here for a long work trip. Overall the rooms were pretty clean and spacious and the staff were very kind and helpful! The location is pretty convienet since it's right off the highway and near a gas station.

    I’m a Hilton Diamond member and have been with Hilton for over 20 years. This hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites Woodland-Sacramento Area, is very basic, including the staff. I stayed at the hotel for six nights, changing rooms after one night. My experience began on the fourth day when I received a call, presumably from the housekeeping department, informing me that it is hotel policy to clean the room after four days. I agreed, and shortly after, the housekeeper came to clean. When I returned, I noticed that the shower curtain was broken and dirty. I called the front desk, and they replaced the shower curtain on August 20, 2025. I checked out, received my bill, and everything was fine. Later that night, at 9:26 p.m., I received an email from Amex with a charge of $50.00 from the hotel. The next day, after returning home (NYC), I called the hotel to inquire about the charge. The manager, Maria Gutierez, said that five hangers and a hairdryer bag were missing from the room. I politely explained that I had nothing to do with the missing items and was outraged by the accusation. She refused to listen and was not very professional in her response. I filed complaints with Hilton’s customer service and American Express. Hilton’s customer service apologized and refunded the $50.00. Ultimately, this isn’t about the $50.00 but about this Particular hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites Woodland-Sacramento Area. I’m 70 years old, a world traveler, and have been loyal to Hilton for over two decades. I have never experienced anything like this before. I hope the owner of this location reads this and takes steps to fix the issue. If I do not receive an apology from the hotel, I will pursue further action. I am very upset and insulted by this experience and its staff.
