- SSShahadDec 24, 20251.0I had an unacceptable experience. I was unable to sleep due to constant noise coming from the air conditioning unit in my room. I went down to the front desk and spoke to the staff face to face. From the start, I was told there was nothing they could do. I was instructed to turn the unit off, which I did, but the noise continued and the issue remained unresolved. Nothing was done to help. No solution was offered, no effort was made, and I was told to wait until the morning for maintenance. Not even the most basic gesture, such as offering earplugs, was provided. Being exhausted late at night and met with complete inaction was extremely frustrating. What made this situation unacceptable was the absolute lack of empathy. There was no concern, no apology, and no attempt to acknowledge my discomfort. This was not just a service failure, but a failure of basic hospitality. Empathy is fundamental in front of house roles, and its absence was glaring. The dismissive and indifferent handling of this issue left me exhausted and deeply disappointed.
